M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Job mix formula of premix bituminous macadam shall be approved by CWE.

M&L for preparing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor through air jet to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism, providing, laying, spreading 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) of premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and Vibromax roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Job mix formula shall be approved by CWE. (ii) Paving bitumen primer of Grade VG-10 for tack coat and bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for preparation of surfaces, applying tack coat, providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand etc., rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (iv) Computerised print out of data of bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant shall be provided to the GE by contractor.

M&L for Thermo plastic road marking 2.0 mm thick painting (lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on new or previously treated road surfaces) with road safety spikeries glass beads including preparation of new or previously treated road surfaces and applying paint by using special applicator machine with heating arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

Rough excavation not exc 1.5m deep and getting out in any type of soil, removing excavated soil to a distance exc. 1.50 Km but not exc. 5 Km and depositing where directed as in road side berms including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Payment shall be made for the consolidated thickness of berms and quoted rates shall deemed to include this aspect.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, surface finished fair and even, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in kerb block (factory casted) with plain fair faces, including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle throating, with plain or interlocking joints and setting in cement mortar 1:4, complete, all as directed.

M&L for factory made 80mm thick precast cement concrete interlocking paver blocks of Grade M-40 conforming to IS 15658-2006 of shape and size as directed with grey cement and pigment casted in an automatic plant working on vibration and simultaneous hydraulic compression from top, laid over & including 25mm thick sand cushioning, joints of blocks filled with dry sand and compacted with mechanical vibrator complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of new concrete surfaces of Kerb stones and the like over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of primer complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Painting to Kerb stones in alternate tint as approved by GE shall be carried out.

Supply & fixing road stud of size 110 x 128 x 30mm, two way reflective, aluminium alloy body, Red or Amber colour, complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken road stud of any type. Notes :- (i) Road Stud shall be of Model “DA 971’ of make ‘DARK EYE’ or equivalent of make GREENLITE / 3M / TATA BP / Avery Dennison / Alexis / Oscar / DEV / Surya / Sharp Eyez. (ii) Reflector shall be positioned at the best eye guiding level so that drivers shall be warned from a safe distance.

S&F dual directional delineator made out of 16 gauge MS rectangular pipe of size 25x68 mm and of length 600mm stove enameled and backed to 120 degree or powder coated, head made out of ABS plastic rectangular moulded with flat face provided with high intensity prismatic reflectors of colour (white/yellow/red) of size 100x125 mm with additional two reflector strips of 25mm wide, delineator shall be fixed in plain cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block of size 300x300x350mm deep, including necessary excavation & earthwork, complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken delineator of any type. Notes :- (i) Delineator shall be of Model ‘GPL-UBPH-11-56’ of make ‘GREENLITE’ or equivalent of make DARK EYE / 3M / TATA BP / Avery Dennison / Alexis / Oscar / DEV / Surya / Sharp Eyez. (ii) Reflectors shall be positioned at the best eye guiding level so that drivers shall be warned from a safe distance.
