(b) Necessary Surge / LIghting arresting system.
(c) Solar PV module extension wire AC/DC with connected accessories (should be insulated copper wire in heavy duty rigid PVC conduit and SS cable tray) of suitable size and length as per site requirements (from Solar panel to inverter and inverters to main panel)

S&F maintenance free lead acid cell batteries 12Vdc, 150Ah, tubular including connecting up with suitable copper solid wire & brass connectors / clip / clamp / lid in series to aquire the voltage equivalent to 180Vdc panel output or 240Vdc panel output so as to convert the 120Vdc, 180Vdc or 240Vdc into 415Volt AC, 3 Ph, through inverters complete all as specified and as directed.
Make :- Exide, Inva Plus IP1800. Cat Part No - JE IP1800 or equivalent in Waaree / Tata / Havells. Note :- (i) Cost of interlocking copper cable and connecting lid etc is deemed to be included with unit rate.
(ii) GI structure for battery stand will be measured and paid separately. Battery rack suitable for stacking into row, layers and sections of maximum 15 to 20 Nos of batteries for one installation etc complete.

Note for Srl Item No 1 to 5 :- (i) All kind of climbing materials, safety equipments and adequate tools shall be provided by the contractor during execution of work.
(ii) Group of panels in any combination shall be installed on roof top of two bldgs.
(iii) If the roof or any structure has damaged during the execution, contractor should make it good as per existing by his own. (iv) Rate includes Testing, commissioning and training on Operation and maintenance imparted to users for minimum 10 days by arranging OEM technician.
(v) Two mode of operation shall be made available i.e, Solar Priority Mode and Grid Priority Mode.
(vi) In solar priority mode, solar power shall be used to charge the batteries to full when available and once the battery becomes full, the site load shall be shifted to the battery and solar till a predefined battery voltage level thereby solar energy is utilized full.

(vii) In Grid Priority mode, batteries are charged from grid as well as from solar. Loads are normally powered by grid when available. Under grid failure, loads shall be supported by solar. This mode is suitable for non sunny days.
(viii) Entire solar panels and control systems should sustain the temperature from -10degree to 50degree and to sustain the wind speed upto 180Km/Hr.
(ix) Rate of the solar panels and batteries including cleaning of panels, and regular maintenance of batteries and inverters.
(x) The scope shall cover the surge protection system for the panels and inverters from lightning and thundering.
(xi) protection against battery high / low, overload, short circuit, Array reverse, battery reverse and overtemperature shall be provided and testing shall be done at site after installation.
(xii) Additional protection in the battery line shall be provided via fuse. Grid and output protected via MCB.

(xiii) Monkey guard fencing around the panels or PVC monkey guard spikes around and over the structural area of the entire solar system independently shall be provided by the firm. The cost of the same to be included.
(xiv) Preventive maint of batteries / Inverters / Panels shall be carried out by the firm by sending suitable technician twice in a month and shall give OK report to the Engineer-in-Charge in writing without fail. In case of repair on the system, contractor shall arrange particular spares by arranging own without giving trouble to the users.
(xv) 10 days training shall be imparted to users and MES staffs by arranging suitable technicians from the reputed manufacturer by his own.

Treatment of sunken floor slab compraises of the following specifications and all as specified :-
(i) M&L for cleaning the sunken/lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40mm thick avg PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in padding conc to achieve proper slope including cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for spout.
(ii) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 6mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by wt of cement consumed.
(iii) All junctions points of side wall where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy puty.
(iv) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.
(v) M&L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturs instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed.
(vi) GI pipe 50mm dia medium grade not less than 50cm long laid on each sunken floor as spout complete all as specified and direced by EIC.
(vii) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound 3% by wt of cement consumed as per manufacturer's specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout.
(viii) All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all round after painting with anticorrosive paint.
Note :- (i) Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicators of chemicals. Cost of testing is included in the rates quoted above.
(ii) All debries obtained from site will be thrown away out side MD land by contractor at his own expense.
(iii) The cost of integral water proofing compound deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate.
