Supply and fixing steel tubular pole, swaged type, 11 metre long, type 410 SP-55, with mild steel base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws including drilling of necessary holes, with & including two coats of synthetic enamel paint in alternate black and yellow strips 30 cm each upto 1.5 metre height from PCC coping and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium red oxide primer to remaining portion of pole and marking pole number in letters & figures of size not less than 8cm height including taking out old unserviceable pole including all accessories i.e insulator, conductors, cross arms etc complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation, earthwork, PCC in foundation & coping shall be measured and paid for separately.

S&F pre-stressed concrete pole 11 metre long of cross section 152mm x 152mm at the top and 152mm x 260mm at bottom, class 9, complying with requirements of IS-1678-1998 with & including two coats of synthetic enamel paint in alternate black and yellow strips 30 cm each upto 1.5 metre height from PCC coping/pedestal and marking pole number in letters & figures of size not less than 8cm height, including taking out old unserviceable pole including all accessories i.e insulator, conductors, cross arms etc complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation, earthwork, PCC in foundation & coping shall be measured and paid for separately.

S&F Stay assembly complete with 20mm dia, 1800mm long GI stay rod, with threaded ends and GI nuts, two number thimbles, MS galvanized clamps made out of 40mmx6mm flat iron including MS galvanized nuts, bolts and washers, 300mm x 300mm x 6mm MS galvanized stay plate, stay bow, galvanized stay strand 7/4 mm including shackle insulator and stay clamp, with & including painting of exposed MS work with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer, all as shown in electrical plate No 1 of MES Schedule Part-I, including taking out old unserviceable stay assembly, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation & earthwork and PCC shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of this Schedule.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations of poles, filling, mass concrete and similar works, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Volume of pole/strut embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in copings, pedestal of poles and the like including use and waste of form work (straight or curved), all exposed surface of concrete finished even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Volume of pole/strut embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations of stay assembly, filling, mass concrete and similar works, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dry sand (Local Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Supplying and laying factory made, un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, ISI marked, Class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, laid as cable protection cover in trenches, complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 70 Sqmm, 3 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable HT cable, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

S&F Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) of any size as directed, stringing for overhead line on 33/11 KV HT poles including jointing with and including aluminium binding wire 2 mm dia, jumpers, line tapes, conducting jelly, stretching properly and connecting with suitable PG clamps, etc including dismantling and taking down old existing unserviceable aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size/type/capacity, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) ACSR conductors shall conforming to IS-398 (Part-II) and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also deemed to include for supply and fixing of binding wire, aluminium tapes, etc which shall not be included in the weight of conductors for payment. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size and length and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS code.

S&F GI continuous earth wire or guard/cradle made to shape of 4mm dia as directed including Galvanized mild steel binding wire 1.63mm dia including dismantling & taking down old existing unserviceable GI continuous earth wire, guard, cradle, etc of any size from HT poles including disconnecting from the existing system complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Galvanized wire shall be measured & paid for under this item and clamps, eye hooks where provided shall be measured and paid for separately.

S&F cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilled holes for bolts, in any shape or size for 33/11 KV over head structure with & including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Size, section and shape of steel sections shall be as directed. (ii) Weight of paint shall not be considered for payment purpose and quoted rate shall deemed to be included this aspect.

S&F Switch air break, gang operated outdoor, Vertical operated type, HT 11 KV, Triple pole, 200 Amps, 3 insulator per phase, rotating vertical type, with fixed contacts of phosphorous bronze and moving contacts of copper, manually operated from ground level with operating mechanism including GI tubing medium grade 25mm bore operating rod, pad locking arrangements, MS arcing horns, flexible braiding earthing blades, rod and contacts without drop out fuse assembly and jumpers with Mink conductor line, taps, clamps, colour coated HT sleeves and fittings suitable for vertical mounting, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Switch air break, gang operated outdoor, Horizontal operated type, HT 11 KV, Triple pole, 400 Amps, 3 insulator per phase, tilting/rocking horizontal type, with fixed contacts of phosphorous bronze and moving contacts of copper, manually operated from ground level with operating mechanism including GI tubing medium grade 25mm bore operating rod, pad locking arrangements, MS arcing horns, flexible braiding earthing blades, rod and contacts without drop out fuse assembly and jumpers with Mink conductor line, taps, clamps, colour coated HT sleeves and fittings suitable for horizontal mounting, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair to existing switch air break, gang operated outdoor, vertical / horizontal mechanically operated type, HT 11 KV, Triple pole by cleaning of moving / static contacts with tetrachloride solution, scrapping and making smooth to existing spot points of the contacts by emery paper, providing grease on moving contacts, mechanical torque joint, tightening of canopy with drop out fuse assembly set (three contacts in each GOD switch) to make the GOD switch fully & smoothly functional, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of Danger notice plate of 25x20cm size, 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour for HT 11000 Volts and fixed with suitable MS clamps made out of flat iron 25x3mm, bolts and nuts of approved size, fixed, complete all as specified & as directed.

Re-straining/ re-stringing/ tightening of existing HT 11 KV over head Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) and GI earth wire of any size/ type upto permissible sag in between existing span carefully without damaging other components such as insulators etc of HT distribution system with & including repair to broken conductor where required and replacement of binding wire with new 2mm dia aluminium binding wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Unit for measurement and payment for this item is comprising of 3 Nos ACSR conductors and one GI earth wire shall be measure as 'One'.

Cutting/trimming/pruning of tree branches around the HT 11 KV overhead lines at any height 3 metre clearance alround from the external conductors and removing the same from site and depositing at places within the Cantt area complete all as specified and directed. Note : Unit for measurement and payment for this item is “Each span” irrespective of number of conductors in over head line.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface and painting of steel tubular HT pole 11/12 metre long of any size with two coats of synthetic enamel paint in alternate black and yellow strips 30cm each upto 1.50 metre height from top of PCC coping/pedestal and applying two coats of aluminium anti corrosive paint to remaining portion of steel pole including cross arms, brackets, bracings, clamps, hooks etc and marking pole number in letters & figures of size not less than 8cm height including preparation of old surfaces for painting complete all as specified & as directed.

Surface dressing not exc 15cm deep in soft/loose soil and clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured one metre above ground level) surrounding Transformers, LT Panels, 02 Pole structures, 04 Pole Structures, 11 KV structure etc at various sub stations / E&M installations and removing rubbish upto a distance exc 200m & not exc 250m outside the periphery of the area under clearance complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F in repair Anti-climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of MS flat 40mmx6mm in two parts with 14 Nos 250mm long 12mm dia MS bars (round, square and flat) conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole, with & including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, complete all as specified & directed.

M&L in repair/replacement of old unserviceable of 11 KV Jumper with required length of new ACSR conductor with proper cramping of aluminium lug/thimble of appropriate size with proper nut, bolts, washer arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for re-laying of existing HT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 70 Sqmm to 150 Sqmm, 3 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, after repair of defect of HT XLPE cable complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. Locating the fault in HT cable of any size for any type of fault like open cable short between phases/neutral, ground cable with help of cable fault locator and pin pointing location with the help of audio signal, excavation at the fault and opening cable to suitable distance and depth for making a cable joint and including complete earth work all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Jointing kits shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Contractor will have to arranged the cable fault locator or other testing equipment/tools as required and same shall be deemed to be included in the item.
