Raking out existing sealing compound from expansion, contraction & dummy joints of width exc. 20mm but not exceeding 40mm in concrete and upto 40mm deep by mechanical means operated with electric, preparing and cleaning of sides, bottom and edges of adjoining slabs with solvent soaked cloth to remove sticked old sealing compound completely, cleaning the surface of the joints with wire brushes and finally removing and cleaning dust etc with compressed air to make it free from all foreign particles, filling with Polyurethane joint sealing compound using mechanical means to a minimum depth exceeding 10mm but not exceeding 12mm (depth minimum above the backup rod) with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) + 30% confirming to the requirement of BS-5212 and EN 141875-2003 of hydrolysis/water resistance including one coat of primer and providing approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod/back up sheet of required size & shape over existing bituminious joint filler board in position

Cont........... applying masking tape on edges to prevent accident all slippage on solvent on top surface and to give a neat finish to sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied as required complete all as per manfacture instructions including removal of loose & foreign materials outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. MAKE: Dr Fixit / Bostik (Product Name "Seal N Flex 2K") / Chokesy Chemical / STP LTD (Product Name "Shali Seal GG/PG 2K")/Tiki Tar Ltd (Product Name "STiki Seal PU 2K") or equivalent.

M&L for repairing to concrete slab surface (depressed portion/cracked portion) by cutting damaged/spilled portion and concrete pavement by mechanical equipment into rectangular crossed section, removing useless and worthless all loose and foreign materials etc to a distance exceeding 500m but not exceeding 1000 meter cleaning the surface thoroughly with brushes and finally with compressed air, including filling and levelling the surface, priming the patches with special primer recommended by manufacturer and filling with modified ready mix ELASTOMERIC concrete not exceeding 50mm depth, including form work where required all as per manufacture's instructions complete all as specified and directed. MAKE: Chokesy Chemical(Product Name "Flex O Patch" Elastomeric concrete) / STP LTD (Product Name "ShaliPatch EC 20")/Dr Cipy (Product Name "Floorkrete EC") or equivalent.

Cutting wild growth i.e. grass, shurbs, bushes etc upto 150 mm from ground level by using tractor with jungle jim including removing , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:-1. Tenderer shall provide machine, bush cutter ,T&P & diesel/petrol and shall be included in quoted rate. 2. Work shall be carried during non flying hours specially adjacent to runway, PTT & shoulder of runway & PTT etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all the above provisions and nothing extra shall be admissible. 4. Sufficient Labours are to be deployed by the contractor daily to collect the grass/vegetation cut and spreaded over runway/taxi tracks and disposal of the same outside MOD land. The rate of labours for deployment daily and removal of grass outside MOD land are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted and nothing extra shall be admissible on this ground.

Work shall be carried during non flying hours specially adjacent to runway, PTT & shoulder of runway & PTT etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all the above provisions and nothing extra shall be admissible. 4. Preparation of old surfaces of walls/chajjas/sills including brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots etc and washing with water and applying two coat of exterior acrylic emulsion paint, ( in red and white square block pattern ), complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing old layers of paints by scrapping with suitable scrapers tools and clean the surafce by sweeping and applying two coat of water based road marking paint (as approved by GE) , water based matt finished as per IS-164 of white, golden yellow, Deep orange, Red and black in lines, dashes, letter, circle, triangle etc on concrete or bitumen surfaces/ pavements exceeding 10cm in width using Mechanical pavement marking machine with two gun( Airless Spray application as per IS-164/RM-164), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Spreading and levelling by cutting & filling for all type of soils avg 30cm deep around Runway, PTT etc using tractor, leveler, cultivator, Harrow & tillers(min of 3 Rounds/sqm) including : (i) Clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings,shrubs, bushwood, undergrowth, roots, and removing rubbish to a distance exc. 1 km but n exc. 5 km all as specified and directed by Engr-in- charge. (ii) Rolling the ground include for watering as necessary and consolidating to the required level, gradient or camber (using auto leveler) using 8 Tonne roller with sufficient water sprinkling to achieve proctor density upto 95%. Note: Unit rate quoted includes all T&P comprising 8 tonne Rollers, water sprinkler, Auto leveler, tractor etc.,crew, fuel and tools complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Contract Amount shall be derived after affecting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary on serial page No 17 of tender documents.
