M&L to Preparing to unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified & as directed.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 40 mm thick of 100-200 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5.5 prercent of mix and filler cement @ 2% by weight of total mix. transporting the hot mix to work site laying with a mechanical paver finisher to the required grade level and tendem rollers to achieve the desired compactions complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Bituminous concrete shall be mixed in hot mix plant, transported from plant to work site and laid/spread by means of mechanical paver finisher . (ii) Filler for bituminous concrete shall be OPC-43 grade @2% of total mix. (iii) Contractor shall quote his rate on the basis of binder as mentioned in this item. If there is any negative variation in the actual binder content used as per design mix approved by GE, the rate shall be adjusted @ Rs.53.00 per Kg of binder used. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified in said item. (iv) Work shall be executed as per design mix approved by GE.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam using with paving bitumen of any penetration of consolidated thickness 75mm or less with 4% binder content by weight of total mix, laid & rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions completea all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings exc. 15 cm thickness above ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Cement concrete work in (200mm thick) pavement/hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Joint shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) For the purpose of pricing this item the cement content shall be considered as 400 kg / Cum . No price adjustment shall be made if excess quantity of cement content more than 400 kg / cum is used / approved in the execution of work under this item. (iii) Floater with all necessary arrangement required to finish the concrete surface to be provided by Contractor.

M&L for finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements, by brooming complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of existing concrete surface by hacking and roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for construction joint 30 mm deep x 10 mm wide filled with grade 'A' sealing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Forming 12mm thick Expansion joints filled with preformed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘A’, (thickness of concrete slab 200mm ) completea all as specified and directed.

M&L for Forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound Grade ‘A’, completea all as specified and directed.
