M&L for rough cast finish plaster with a mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine gravel aggregate mixed with coarse sand and cement in the ratio of 1:1:1 over & including 12mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:3 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls including taking down cement plaster of any description, any thickness complete, all as specified and directed.

Material and labour preparation of newly plastered surface of walls & applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of old decorated, plastered or pointed surfaces of walls by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot moulds, moss and efflorescent, salts and treating oil & greasy spots, filling cracks with wall care putty etc and applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of walls and applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion exterior paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treated surfaces of walls/ Roof projections including facial, cornices etc by crapping with mechancal sander / paint removal machine (having mechanical vaccum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 grit having dia of 7"/9" to make free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces plastered of walls and applying two coats of acrylic distemper/OBD paint of approved tint over one coat of primer over including average layer 2mm thick acrylic wall care putty to achieve desired smoothness and eveness complete by hand roller complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for securing of old glass of any description in existing wooden frames glazed with putty/ beads including removing loose or decayed putty/beads, painting/oiling one coat on rebates, grooves, reputtying and painting/oiling puttied surface to match existing work (New length of frame reputtied shall be measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair 3mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square not exc 0.5 sqm in each pane including painting / oiling to new putty to match with the existing/new surfaces, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of wood and wood based material of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of steel and steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) not exceeding 30cm high complete all as specified and directed.

NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM NO. 1.00 to 14.00 of BOQ. (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by contractor as per MOU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of which the materials i.e Exterior Emulsion Paint, Distemper, Putty etc after approved by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall submit the documents “Memoradum of Understanding” (MoU) before starting the subject work with atleast one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract documents. (c) Cost of scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures as per site requirement shall be included in the quoted rate. (d) Removing of nails, making good holes, cracks etc as per site requirement. (e) Work in patches and in narrow/ widths, bands, cornices, plasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wirings etc drops and splashes of paint to be cleared to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Removing and existing furniture for painting work and replacing the same post painting work, movable cupboard, chicks, blinds etc. (j) Sample patch of 10 sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodicals and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further subject work.

NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM NO. 1.00 to 14.00 of BOQ (Contd). (k) GUARANTEE OF PERIODICAL SERVICES : Periodical services against serial item No 1.00 to 14.00 of BOQ using mechanized equipment’s only executed under this contract are under the guarantee of contractor for 05 (Five) Years after the certified physical completion of work. Contractor is fully liable under this guarantee to rectify and redo all defective work intimated to him during this period including all type of materials and labour to the specifications catered for in the contract. In case contractor fails to rectify the defective work, Accepting Officer shall get the rectification done as necessary at the risk and cost of contractor and recover the cost in full from the contractor. If the contractor consider that any additional treatment is required over and above that specified here in before in Schedule ‘A’, the same shall be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government.
