M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt, connected to earth lead of GI wire 4 mm dia (8 SWG) by means of bolts, nuts and washers of the earth wire galvanised iron or steel and thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to earthing test point and protected by galvanised iron pipe light grade 15mm dia and water pipe 20mm dia GI light grade top of pipe with funnel & wiremesh, and bottom connected to earth plate by slit and two bolts/nuts/washers, PCC chamber in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 and 40mm thick RCC cover, excavation & earth work complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I of SSR-2009 including taking down old eathing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. S&F as in repair of street light bracket made out of 40mm dia GI pipe light grade 1.5m long , bent to shape at 120 degree angle from vertical fixed along pole with and including required number of clamp made out of Flat iron 25mm x 6mm with nuts, bolts ,washers etc. duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F as in repair of 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated aluminium conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 metre apart including4mm suspension wire, one twin core cable flat or circular 6 sqmm solid conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection and GI pipe shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Road cutting / floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of the above provisions.
