M&L for making good the cracks and repairing disintegrated / spoiled concrete slabs to vertical rectangular cross section with power driven concrete cutters, removing all loose and foreign materials to outside of containment area , cleaning surface thoroughly with wire/coir brushes and then cleaned the surfaces with compressed air by air blower compressors and filling with Elastomeric concrete after application of specified primer and removal of rubbish to a distance exc 250m and not exc 500m and depositing , complete all as specified and as directed. Note: i) All necessary formwork, sides etc shall be included in the quoted rates. ii) Primer used shall be of the same make as of elastomeric concrete.

Raking out existing Sealing compound from expansion Joints of size 20 mm to 25mm wide and up to a depth of 30 mm from existing Flexible/concrete pavements and spilled sealing compound from the edge of expansion joint removing the old sealing compound and all foreign material to a distance of 100 mtr and depositing as directed by Engr-in-Charge, cleaning and preparation of existing expansion joint , priming the sides and bottom of expansion joints with primer for Grade B sealing Compound and Sealing the expansion joint 20mm to 25mm wide and 25 mm deep (leaving a clear space of 5mm at top in winter and 3 mm top in summer with sealing compound Grade B heat resistance complete all as specified .

All as per item no 05 but for construction joints of size 10 to 14 mm but wide and upto thickness 30 mm .

Ditto as above item no 05 but for contraction joints ( dummy) of size 08 to 10 mm but up thickness 65 mm .

Raking out existing filling in expansion Joints of width exceeding 20mm but n exc 25mm And required depth as specified by special tool like concrete cutter , wire/coir brushes / machines and joints cleaned throughly with application of compressed air , making free from all the loose material ie; dirt , dust, grease , existing sealing compound ,filler board , (as required) including sticked material of existing compound racked up to full depth ( up to 45 mm ) of Joints etc to entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and filling the joint with the polyurathene joint sealant single compound component using mechanical means to a depth exceeding 08 mm but n exc 12 mm ( depth above the backup Rod ) with minimum performance guarantee of 10 years and minimum movement accommodation factor ( MAF) +/- 30 % confirming to the requirement of BS-5212 and EN-141575-2003 for hydrolysis /water resistance test including two coats of primer and filling the balanced racked depth of the joint with backup material ie; closed cell polyethelene to ensure tight packing so that no gaps or void exist at the top of backup material separated by bond breaker of suitable size HD 10 filler board in position where required and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surface to give a neat finish to the sealant and remove the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete as per manufacturer's instructions and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer In Charge.

Raking out existing filling in Contruction Joints of width exceeding 12mm to 14mm wide and 25mm depth as specified by special tool like Bituminous cutter , wire/coir brushes / machines and joints cleaned throughly with application of compressed air , making free from all the loose material ie; dirt , dust, grease , existing sealing compound ,filler board , (as required) including sticked material of existing compound racked up to full depth ( up to 45 mm ) of Joints etc to entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and filling the joint with the polysulphide liquid elastromeric consisting of base compound and accelerator(curing agenet) (Tech seal RDL 941EH) on bituminuous surface component using mechanical means to a depth exceeding 08 mm but n exc 12 mm ( depth above the backup Rod ) with minimum performance guarantee of 6 years and minimum movement accommodation factor ( MAF) +/- 30 % confirming to the requirement of BS-5212 (1990) for hydrolysis /water resistance test including two coats of primer and filling the balanced racked depth of the joint with backup material ie; closed cell polyethelene to ensure tight packing so that no gaps or void exist at the top of backup material separated by bond breaker of suitable size HD 10 filler board in position where required and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental slippage of sealant on top surface to give a neat finish to the sealant and remove the masking tape after sealant is applied as required complete as per manufacturer's instructions and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer In Charge.

M&L for repair to pot holes on concrete portion of runway / PTT / Taxi Track of size not exc. 4 Sqcm and depth not exc 1.5 cm and filling with elastomaric concrete over and including priming of pot hole surface with suitable primer of same make including preparation of old detorated concrete surface by removing loose disintegrated concrete and blowing with mechanical / electrically driven air blower complete all as specified and directed. Note:- the cost of T&P required for preparation of pot holes are inclusive in this quoted rate, the tenderer shall keep this aspect in mind before quoting their rates.

All as per item No 12 but sie not exceeding 6 sqcm and depth up to 2 cm complete all as specified and directed .
