Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of any size, top bullnosed shape, made of M-25 (Design Mix) grade cement concrete, in position to the required line, level and curvature jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth of pot hole exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm including rolling over the broken surfaces using 8 to 10 tonnes power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size) or of grading 3 (53 to 22.4 mm size), spread, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with three wheel-power roller of 80 to 100 kN capacity or an equivalent vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying primer on the surface of non-bituminous granular base course preparatory to the superimposition of bituminous treatment coat with paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade at the rate of 10 kg per 10 Sqm of surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for semi dense asphaltic concrete concrete 40 mm (compacted thickness) using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix & hydraulic lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹44 per kg.

M & L for bituminous macadam not exceeding 75 mm thickness (compacted thickness) using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined as per IRC 27: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹44 per kg.

M & L for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying tack coat on existing bituminous to ensure a bond between the surface being paved and the overlaying course with paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm of surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm (compacted thickness) using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix & hydraulic lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in renewal of Glow studs (cat's eye) of size 100 mm X 100 mm X 20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The cat’s eye shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35⁰ ± 5⁰ to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 Part 4: 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in renewal of solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of uper bright LED with10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in renewal of metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti-theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and as directed.
