(i) Labour component required for the replacement of unserviceable parts shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.
(ii) Winding wires for making of coils, LT/HT bushes, temperature gauge, breather assembly, tap changer, transformer oil shall be measured and paid for separately as ‘Supply only’ under relevant items of this Schedule.
(iii) All minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, insulating material, copper wire for delta connection, etc. shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.
(iv) Testing of transformer shall be arranged by the contractor for Type Test & Routine Test which shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and contractor shall submit test certificates to this effect before processing the RAR for payment.

(i) Excavation and earthwork shall be in any type of soil and surplus excavated material shall be removed up to a distance exc 200m but not exc 250m. The total depth of foundation shall be 70cm below GL. (ii) Concrete bed for brick work wall in foundation shall be of uniform thickness of 10cm and 80cm breadth with PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate. (iii) Brick work wall footing 1st course i.e bottom course all around shall be 30cm deep & 69cm breadth built in cement mortar (1:4) using old size fly ash bricks. (iv) Brick work wall footing 2nd course all around shall be 30cm deep & 57.5cm breadth built in cement mortar (1:4) using old size fly ash bricks. (b) Above Ground Level :-
(i) Brick work wall above GL all around shall be of 50cm height & 46cm thickness built in cement mortar (1:4) using old size fly ash bricks. (ii) 100mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate shall be provided on top of wall in full width. (iii) 150mm thick RCC slab on top with cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate with reinforcement of 12mm dia TMT bars @ 100mm C/C both ways shall be provided using proper formwork. (iv) External surfaces of brick work & concrete above plinth protection shall be plastered with 15mm thick plaster in cement and sand mortar (1:4) finished fair & even. Plaster on top of RCC slab shall not be provided. (v) Three coats of white wash shall be provided on all plastered surfaces. (vi) 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in plinth protection of 75cm width with surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement shall be provided all around the platform walls. (vii) Hollow portion of platform above GL & below RCC slab shall be filled with 40mm to 63mm crushed stone aggregate & compacted by using local dry tibba sand for filling of voids in aggregate.
