Supplying, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing in replacement XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, armoured, heavy duty underground electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade of cross sectional area 25 sq mm 3.5 core confirming to IS-7098 (Part-I-1988) laid in trenches, along poles through pipes etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection and GI pipe shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of the above provisions.

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth, or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. or laying underground cable and water supply / sewage pipe line etc. in soft / loose soil & getting out including taking out old brick or precast cable cover complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removal of excavated soil/ material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for dry sand (Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning to underground cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: - For payment purpose thickness after punning shall be measured.

M & L for brick protection with old size sub class 'B' bricks laid flat, length of bricks across the route of underground cable all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement Galvanized iron tubing, 40mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches / under road / drains, fixed to poles / walls with required numbers of clamps made out of 25x3mm flat iron, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ

Inspection/Checking of solar street light fitting installed as various locations under GE (A) Suratgarh for finding faults including cleaning of front glass of SPV plate, battery, check the electrolyte, electric connections and frame structure and refixing the same in existing position after carrying out necessary repair / replacement of unserviceable parts such as connector, leads, convertor / charge controller and other minor parts / components etc as required at site to make functional complete set to work including denting / brazzing / welding work of battery box and making locking arrangement and replacement of pad lock as per exising size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) The accessories / spare parts which are required to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately as “Supply only” under respective items of BOQ here-in-after. (ii) Ladder wheel and required T & P shall be arranged by the Contractor. (iii) Detection and rectification of fault in over head/under ground line shall be done by the contractor

Supply only maintenance free direct current backup system 12 volts, 40 AH suitable for 9 watts LED light fittings including GI battery box of suitable size with fixing arrangement on pole

Supply only LED solar street light fittings water proof die cast aluminium body of capacity 9 watts (cool white) operating / suitable for 12 volts, 40 AH DC supply, IP 65 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. M&L for painting on steel tubular poles 6 metre long including attachments such as cross arms, bracings, clamps, GI pipes, battery box etc with one coat of aluminium paint after preparation of steel surfaces and black & white strips 30cm each upto 1.5 metre height with synthetic enamel paint from top of PCC foundation block or PCC coping including numbering of poles with synthetic enamel paint (white) in 80mm high letters over 150mmx230mm yellow base complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down street light fitting such as HPSV lamp fitting 70/150/250/400 watts, Energy saving light fitting 4x24/2x36/1x36 watt and high mast light / SV / MV / MH light fittings 250/440 watts and 45/60/72/90 watt LED light fittings etc for finding faults including cleaning of acrylic Perspex cover with castic soda solution and refixing the same in existing position after carrying out necessary repair / replacement of unserviceable parts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) The accessories / spare parts which are required to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately as “Supply only” under srl item No 19 to 24 of BOQ here-in-after. (ii) Ladder wheel shall be arranged by the Contractor. (iii) Detection and rectification of fault in over head/under ground line shall be done by the contractor.

S&F in replacement weather proof PVC insulated, sheathed three core stranded aluminium conductor cable of size 2.5 Sqmm, 1100 Volts grade conforming to IS:9968 (Part-I) 1988 or IS:694-1990 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down high mast light fitting such as SV / MV / MH light fitting 250/400 watts or 160 / 200 watts, flood light fitting and refixing the same in existing position after carrying out necessary repair / replacement of unserviceable parts and finding faults, tightning of loose connection, cleaning etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) The accessories / spare parts which are required to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately as “Supply only” under srl item No 31 of BOQ here-in-after. (ii) Detection and rectification of fault in over head/under ground line shall be done by the contractor.

Supply only LED flood light of 160 watt with high pressure die cast housing with lens with lument output 6000K complete (including LED, drive and internally prewired) with on board 5 KV surge protection with 10 KV external SPD. The luminaries shall be monolithic construction totally enclosed dust and water proof with minimum IP 65 protection as per IS 10322-1982 (part-I) with latest amanedments and input voltage range 140-300V AC, frequency 50-60 Hz, P.F should be more than 0.9. The efficiency of LED luminaries system shall be more than 100 lumens per watt and FRLSH cable PVC insulated stranded copper conductor, 1100 volts grade, 2.5 sqmm x 3 core of ISI marked for light to ceiling rose complete including arrangement of mounting for street light as required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Disconecting and taking down existing unservicable UNSV street light fittings of any type and make along with accessories as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes:- (i) Any T & P and Ladder wheel required for the work shall be arranged by the Contractor. The rate of this aspect is included in this item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ii) Serviceable Light fittings retrieved from taking down shall be shifted & installed in units under GE (A) Suratgarh. The rate of this aspect is included in the unit rate of this item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iii) Old unserviceable street light shall Govt property and shall be deposited in store Yard of AGE E/M by the contractor without any extra cost to department.

Supply, fixing and testing LED Street / Security light fitting of 60 Watt, 5700K (including LED drive and internally prewired) complete with body robust, corrosion resistant, superior finish and without any cracks or through holes, made in a single piece by high pressure die cast aluminum alloy. The luminaries shall be monolithic construction totally enclosed dust and water proof with minimum IP -65 / 66 protection as per IS - 10322-1982(Part -I) with latest amendments and input voltage range 140 - 300 V, AC, frequency 50 - 60 Hz ,P.F should be more than 0.9 with Total Harmonic Distortion THD(I) less than 15% ,cool white colour and lamp starting time should  not be more than 10 second including 10 KV surge protection in built or external. Driver should be constant current constant voltage driver. Driver should have high voltage withstanding capacity upto 300 V, AC. Driver should also have double phase protection, no load , open circuit and short circuit protection .LED light fitting should be suitable for ambient temperature from -10 degree Centigrade to 50 degree Centigrade and humidity level 10% to 90 % RH. Covers should be polycarbonate/toughened glass to ensure minimum IP 65 degree protection. Cover should not degrade due to heating and ageing. The efficiency of LED luminaries system shall be more than 100 lumens per watt and must be certified by the LM-79 test report and including connection for street light from pole box with 1.5 Sqmm, 3 core PVC insulated stranded copper conductor FRLSH cable, 1100 Volts grade ISI marked including addition / alteration in bracket (if required) for fixing light fitting complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- charge. (b) Contractor has to furnish a replacement warranty of 05 years for LED light fittings complete including lamps from the date of completion of CA. Contractor shall obtain warranty from the manufacturer of product on their letter head and submit the same to deparment alonwith his letter head. The product will be replaced free of cost in the following case :- (i) Manfacturing defects (ii) Failure due to mechanical and electrical impact. (iii) Drop in lumen (or lux at 1 m) below 90% of clamied values of lumen(or lux at 1 m) of the LED /Luminaries. (c) All LED light/luminare must meet the provision laid down in IS - 16101 , 16102 Part -I/II ,16103 Part -I , 16104 ,16105 ,16106 , 16108/2012 and 15885 Part -II / Section 13. (d) Scope of work shall include supply and fixing street light fittings on street light bracket fixed on poles, If street light fitting requires to fixed on existing street light bracket and any addition alterration required in bracket for fixing street light, In that case cost of additional / alteration is included in the unit rate of this item, which also includes needful T & P and required accessories such as 1.5 sqmm, 3 core PVC insulated stranded copper conductor cable for connection from pole box to light fitting etc complete including making connection, testing etc complete .No extra payment is admissible on this account. (e) Light fittings shall be provided with 10 KV surge protection as mentioned in description of item. If 10 KV surge protection is not provided in light fitting for which cat part is mentioned in BOQ. Contractor has to provide light fitting with 10 KV surge protection without any extra cost to department. (f) Contractor shall write CA No on street light fitting with synthetic enamel which should be visible from ground level. Cost of the same is included in the unit rate of this item nothing shall be extra paid on this account.

S&F in replacement Single phase automatic automatic street light switch suitable for 3 KW load complete with two numbers Infrared sensor based NATURE SWITCH for automatic switching of street / security lights with one number two pole power contractors 40 Amps (Type - MU40-2P, Cs90119) with coil voltage 220 / 240 V and incoming MCBs single pole - 01 No, outgoing MCBs single pole - 01 No of rating 32 Amps & circuit wiring with single core multi stranded of size 10 Sqmm. Lighting switch operation should be based on natural light lux level. Required illuminance level for switching ON is 30 Lux and for switching OFF 10 Lux. Contractor has to provide junction box as per cat No mentioned against make of junction box. where cat No is not mentioned against any make, in that case junction box of size mentioned in description has to provide, if exact size of junction box is not available, then next higher size junction box has to be provided. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

S&F in replacement street light bracket made out of 40mm dia GI pipe light grade 1.2m long , bent to shape at 120 degree angle from vertical fixed along pole with and including required number of clamp made out of Flat iron 25mm x 6mm with nuts, bolts ,washers etc. duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in replacement power contactor two pole of capacity 40 Amps, suitable for MU-2P with 220/240V, wide band coil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
