M&L for providing sand cushioning for protection of UG cable in trenches with dry (coarse) river sand approved quality including filling, spreading and punning down to desired thickness & levelling, watering & consolidation in 15 cm layers on the level ground surface in Sub-Stns complete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, Type 1, flat, size 300 x 180 x 40 mm in trenches for protection of UG Cable with width equal to length of PCC cover, laid dry & flat complete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for GI pipe light grade with all running fittings (ISI Marked), laid in trenches, under road or fixing on wall/pole/crossing drain/nallah etc. 100mm dia bore complete all as specified and directed. Note : Wherever GI Protection pipes are to be placed/fitted above earths surface, cost of necessary clamping/fixing arrangements to the entire satisfaction of Engr-In-Charge is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

M&L for boring under road manually with labour suitable for inserting upto 100 mm bore pipe at a depth 0.75 to 1.0 mtr complete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge NOTE : Any damages made to the existing services of MES/WCB/TNEB/Other Depts like HT/LT UG cables, Water Supply/Sewage Pipe lines, OFC/BSNL/Signal communication cables etc. during the excavation/boring/road cuting etc. progress of the work shall be made good with proper jointing kits etc. as per original to the entire satisfaction of Engr-In-Charge & GE & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. Decision of the AO shall be final & binding.

M&L for cutting the existing hardstanding/PCC/WBM road at a depth of not less than 60 cm & 30 cm in width for passing of HT cables through GI pipes, returning filling in, complete incl finishing the surfaces by providing cement concrete type B1 (1:2:4) with 20 mm graded aggregate upto 20 cm, finishing to a uniform smooth surface complete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Supply, laying, jointing & testing XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminum conductor, 11000 volts grade (Earthed), of size 95 sqmm, 3 core in trenches / through GI pipe / fixed along with pole structure etc incl taking down u/s cable/ ACSR HT line (3 Runs of Each RM) complete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : Necessary earthwork, PCC etc. shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items of work.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for OUTDOOR termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Al conductor cable of size 50 to 95 sq mm complete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for OUTDOOR straight through cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Al conductor cable of size 50 to 95 sq mm complete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground (in vertical position) earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with the top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr (B.G.L.) and connected to copper earth strip 20 x 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts, and washers of galvanized iron including PCC pit & cover with suitable handle, including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm dia med grade galvanized steel tube for watering with one end fixed with suitable funnel and wire mesh, 40 mm bore medium grade galvanized steel tubing for drawing earth lead Copper strip protection & common salt, charcoal in alternate layers etc. complete all as shown in EP No 3 of SSR Part 1 and testing on completion including taking out old Unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : On completion of the complete work/job the Contr is to perform earth resistance tests for each earthing job in the presence of the Engr-In-Charge or his rep & submit test certificates duly signed & certified. If the test results are not satisfactory or not within the permissible limits of relevant Standards/IS then the job is to be redone without any extra cost to the Dept till the results are satisfactory.

M & L for laying earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of 20x3 mm copper strip, fixed to wall on batten or recess or chasses or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, as required including taking down old Unserviceable earthing strip complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for chain link fencing incl line wires, any size/type of standard rails/angles, straining bolts etc. including provn of binding wires complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for MS angle iron post & struts in fencing incl cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc., flat iron fillets for securing wire mesh conforming to Fe-290 E-165 including applying one coat of red oxide primer over two coats of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for spreading & leveling of stone aggregates/Gravels of size 20 to 25 mm upto Max.75mm on sand filling in the Sub-Stns complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) Type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) for transformer platform / plinth etc. & finishing the surface even & smooth using extra cement including necessary formwork and including 15 mm thick rendering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cutting grass, bushes, creapers, weeds, unwanted plants/growths, area cleaning etc in and around Electric Supply Installations, LT Panels, Feeder Pillar Boxes or any other locations as decided by Engr-In-Charge/GE and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and to the entire satisfaction of the complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. NOTE : Any damages made to the existing services of MES/WCB/RSEB/Other Depts like HT/LT UG cables, Water Supply/Sewage Pipe lines, OFC/BSNL/Signal communication cables etc. during the progress of the work shall be made good with proper jointing kits etc. as per original to the entire satisfaction of Engr-In-Charge & GE & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. Decision of the AO shall be final & binding.

S & F Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, brown insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150 mm height, 150 mm dia suitable for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F Disc type, porcelain, vitreous, 145mm High and 255mm dia ball and socket type Brown insulator single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressurer 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for steel structure, cross arms, bracing supports ,clamps, back plates febricated from structrual steel sections incl. nuts, bolts, washers, welding ,bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any size and shape all as directed Including one coat of primer over one under coat and one finishing coat of synthetic enamel steel paints including preparation of surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F lightening arrester non-linear metal oxide type, complete with all fittings, transmission/distribution class, discharge capacity 65 Kilo amps suitable for 11 KV out door type including necessary connection and fittings all as per IS-3070 Part-III and IEC 1994 including dismantling of old unserviceable lightening arrestor including strap bolts, nuts and washers etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L tinned copper flexible jumper of current rating 100A/200A (as per ground reqmt) of minimum 2 mtr length suitable for operating voltage 11 KV, after carefully removing the old unserviceable flexible jumpers from AB switches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for swing out expulsion fuse single pole (Drop Out Fuse) with fuse carrier , fuse element mounted on insulator & fitted on steel frame etc for 11000 volts of capacity 25 amps complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for switch air break, gang operated (GOD), out door type, triple pole, HT 11 KV, 200 Amps, vertical type with 9 insulators mounted with fixed contacts of phosphor bronze and moving contacts of copper, manually operated from ground level with operating mechanism including mild steel galvanised medium grade 25mm bore single length operating rod, pad locking arrangementcomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for servicing the existing Gang operated Air Break switch, operated from ground, of any type/capacity, 11 KV, 3 Pole, including greasing or by applying petroleum jelly, replacing worn out/damaged/rusted contacts (both Male & Female), nuts, bolts, washers, etc. and providing coloured sleeves for jumper connections ccomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for ACSR conductor any size for HT 11 KV over head line including stringing and fixing on pole and binding or for making jumper connections etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Size/Grade/Type of ACSR conductor shall be as per site requirement & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for breather assembly with fresh silica gel suitable for outdoor type 11/0.433 KV transformers of capacity up to 315 KVA including taking down un serviceable breather assy from the transformer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for temperature gauge meter suitable for outdoor type 11/0.433 KV transformers of capacity up to 315 KVA including taking down un serviceable breather assy from the transformer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Tap changer suitable for outdoor type 11/0.433 KV transformers of capacity up to 315 KVA including taking down un serviceable Tap Changer assy from the transformer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M& L for Oil Level Meter suitable for outdoor type 11/0.433 KV transformers of capacity up to 315 KVA including taking down un serviceable Oil Level meter assy from the transformer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and filling in Transformers, Transformer breathers fresh silica gel blue after carefully removing the breather unit and old silica gel and refixing the same complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and filling in Transformers with Transformer oil first hand of dielectric strength not less than 60 KV at 2.5 mm Gap, conforming to IS-335 incl testing of BDV of Oil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Necessary filling eqpts/devices/clean empty drums etc. shall be arranged by the Contr & cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

M & L for Dehydration/Filtration of Transformer oils of Transformer/Switch gears using on load mobile stream line transformer oil filtration plant (hot oil filtration plant) at different Substation located at jasai military station for removing the moisture contents and carbon deposits from the oil and bringing it to the dielectric strength not less than 50 KV AT 2.5 mm Gap after filtration incl testing of BDV of Oil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Necessary filling eqpts/devices/clean empty drums etc. shall be arranged by the Contr & cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

M&L for preparing old painted outer surfaces of Transformers, 11/0.433 KV including all exposed surfaces of steel items fixed with the transformer without dismantling and applying two coats of weather proof synthetic enamel paint of approved grade/shade including writing of SM/MES numbers and Capacity of Transformer for Transformers of following capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge :-

100 KVA to 200 KVA

315 KVA

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces and removing dust and Other deposit material (Unserviceable earthing strips) by scrapping from PCC Pole of 11 mtr Height,and applying two coat aluminium paints to all steel surfaces, including MS lamps,Cable protection pipe with street light brackets etc and including ZEBRA painting of PCC poles using Synthetic Enamel paint of yellow and Black colour in alternate layer of 30 cm upto 1.5 mtr above Coping/GL incl painting of coping with white distumber and writing pole No. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Ladders scaffolding, safety belts etc required for execution of the works shall be arranged by the contractor & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (ii) Contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety aspects of the people engaged by him & any issues (if any) arising during the work shall be dealt by the Contractor & the Dept shall be no way responsible whatsoever.

M&L for trimming/clearing of tree branches leaves etc in such a way that there must be a clearance of atleast 1.5 Mtr radius from the HT 11KV Over Head line/Pole incl cutting branches of size not exceeding 80mm dia complete all as directed at site and disposal of branches/bushes to a distance as indicated for purpose of fire wood for cookhouses of Army Units within the Army Unit and clearing the site all around HT 11 KV LIne/ Pole etc etc.So as to Avoid Any fault in HT Over Head line complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Ladders scaffolding, safety belts etc required for execution of the works shall be arranged by the contractor & the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. (ii) Contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety aspects of the people engaged by him & any issues (if any) arising during the work shall be dealt by the Contractor & the Dept shall be no way responsible whatsoever.

S&F danger notice plate for HT of size 25 cm x 20 cm x 1.60 mm size, mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled, powder coated, letters and figures and conventional skull & bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps bolts of required size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for LT Bushing insulator with brass spindle, nuts, check nuts & washers etc. suitable for outdoor type 11/0.433 KV Transformers of capacity 25 KVA to 315 KVA including taking down unserviceable one from the transformer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for HT Bushing insulator with brass spindle, nuts, check nuts & washers etc. suitable for outdoor type 11/0.433 KV Transformers of capacity 25 KVA to 315 KVA including taking down unserviceable one from the transformer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Transformer Oil Leakage arresting by providing synthetic bonded rubberised cork gasket sheet 6 mm thick for top cover and primary/secondary bushes etc f following capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge :-

M & L for overhauling of VCB unit of capacity up to 400A, 11 KV, 250 MVA of any make/model for servicing, repairs, and re-assembling complete comprising of essential/necessary services including testing and commissioning to the entire satisfaction of GE and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Subject job of Overhauling/Repair of VCB units shall comprise of the following essential/necessary services/jobs : (i) SF 6 gas pressure level to be checked. (ii) SF 6 gas filling to be carried out when the gas pressure is low. (iii) All the connected meters to be checked and calibrated if required. (iv) Checking of control wiring, Push buttons, Indication lamps, tripping coil, tightening and any other related defects to be rectified/replaced in the event of non-functioning/working. (v) Checking and calibration of connected relays. (vi) Cost of additional hardware like bolts, nuts, washers, spring washers etc. to put the VCB in 100% serviceable condition is deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (vii) The complete job of overhauling/servicing of the VCB Units is to be got done from the OEM/Sister concern/Auth channel partner only & in the presence of rep of Engr-in-Charge. (viii) All works shall be carried out with the help of pre-planned programs so that shutdowns can be given in a systematic manner. The pre-planned program shall be submitted by the contractor in consultation with the Engr-in-Charge. Contractor shall not be able to claim any compensation if a scheduled shut down could not be given on dates planned for. (ix) Test certificate in Original duly signed by the Reps of OEM/Contr & MES after repair/overhauling is to be submitted by the contractor.(x) replacement of defective spares shall be measured and paid separately under relavant items of Sch.

M& L for Spring Chage motor suitable for VCB unit of capacity up to 400A, 11 KV, 250 MVA of any make/model including taking down unserviceable Spring Chage motor assy from the VCB unit complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M& L for Space Heater and Thermostate suitable for VCB unit of capacity up to 400A, 11 KV, 250 MVA of any make/model including taking down unserviceable Spring Chage motor assy from the VCB unit complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for disconnection/dismantling of the under mentioned plinth/pole mounted outdoor type 11/0.433 KV Step Down Transformers of capacity 25 KVA to 200 KVA from primary/secondary side, transportation to MES Power House or workshop by crane or any other mode for carrying out the repairs, decanting transformer oil, storing the same in suitable clean containers, disconnecting the live parts, opening the top cover, dismantling bushing, lifting core assy, checking the winding for slackness, winding burning, distortion of core winding, cleaning and drying the tank, varnishing, baking by oven heating, cleaning conservator, cooling tube including necessary leak testing, lowering of complete core assembly inside the fully cleaned transformer, after repair and testing & re-installation in original/new position, connection of cables on primary/secondary side and commissioning complete including taking out of temporary installed transformer (if any) after necessary disconnection of cables from primary/secondary side etc of the following capacity of transformers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge :- Note : (i) Items/Jobs w.r.t. disconnection/dismantling of Transformer for repair/rewinding etc. shall be excecuted only as per the direction of Engr-In-Charge as on reqmt basis. (ii) Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost of transportation of Transformer (if any) from worksite to workshop & back. (iii) Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost of factory inspection (if any) by Engr-In-Charge/GE during currency of the work/job as part of work check/supervision. (iv) Replacement/Topping Up/Dehydration of Transformer oil, defective spares like gasket, breathers, porcelain bush with copper stud, nuts, bolts, washers, re-winding etc. shall be measured and paid separately under relavant items of Sch.

M&L for Galvanised steel continous Earth wire of 4 mm dia fixed on HT Pole with the help of nut volts/ fuse wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Copper wire/Copper strip for H.V. (11 KV) / L.V. (1.1 KV) coils including high quality paper insulation (DPI) for re-winding of Transformer of any capacity upto 315 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Items/Jobs w.r.t. re-winding of HV/LV coils/limbs shall be excecuted only as per the direction of Engr-In-Charge/GE as on reqmt basis. (ii) Gauge and quality of copper wire shall be got approved from Engr-In-Charge & GE prior to commencement of each work/job. (iii) Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost of factory inspection (if any) by Engr-In-Charge/GE during currency of the work/job as part of work check/supervision. (iv) IR values shall be taken after re-winding in the presence of JE E/M/Engr-In-Charge & report generated duly signed by all concerned.

M&L for transportation of Pole Mounted/Spare 11/0.433 KV Distribution Transformer of capacity upto 200 KVA (after disconnecting HT/LT Connections and earthing strips) from Any Sub-Stn to Foundation of any of the Sub-Stn locations or with in same Substation under jasai military Station by crane or any other mode & making HT & LT Cable Connections, temporary Earthing connections etc. including charging & testing of the Tr complete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
