M&L for complete removal of existing treatment including cleaning of mortar drops, smoke soot, moulds, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil, greasy spots etc from internal surfaces of walls & ceiling with mechanical means/grinder complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for applying 02 coats of exterior emulsion paint (light shade) @ 5 sqm/litre/2 coats by Mechanical Means to external wälls/RCC surfaces/soffits chajjas/roof projections/ cantilevers/ balcony etc surfaces over & including a coat of exterior wall primer 11 sqm/ litre/1 coat as recommended for under coat by manufacturer of exterior emulsion by using following brands of emulsion and primer complete all as specified and directed. Make of Exterior Wall Primer : Asian / Berger / Nerolac [Best Quality] Make of Exterior Emulsion : Asian : (Apex) / Berger (WEATHER COAT ANTI DUST) / Nerolac (EXCEL TOTAL).

M&L for applying acrylic wall care putty average 2mm thickness on external walls/ RCC surfaces/ soffits of chajjas/ roof projections/ cantilevers/ balcony etc (thickness vary as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces in two or more layers) by using ready made wall care putty including sand papering after filling the putty to make surface smooth and ready for receiving exterior painting complete all as specified and directed. Make of wall Putty : JK wall Putty/ Birla Wall care Putty/ Bison Wall Putty. Notes: (i) The prepared surface after wall putty, the contractor shall inform to the GE as well as to the Engineer-in Charge for site inspection before applying further external finishes. Please note that the further external finishes work shall start only after approval of the prepared surface from the GE as well as to the Engineer in-Charge through site order.

M&L for preparing newly palstered surfaces of external walls/RCC surfaces/soffits of chajjas/ roof projections/cantilevers/ balcony etc including cornices and applying two coats of cement base paint @ 5 sqm/Kg/1 coat over a coat of cement base primer by using following brands of cement based paint complete all as specified & as ditected.

M&L for applying 2mm thick (average thickness) acrylic wall care putty on internal surfaces of walls/ceilings (thickness vary from 1.5 to 2.5mm as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces in two or more layers) by using ready made wall care putty including sand papering after filling the putty to make surface smooth and ready for receiving exterior painting complete all a s specified and directed. Make of wall Putty : JK wall Putty / Birla Wall care Putty /Bison Wall Putty. Notes : (i) The prepared surface after wall putty, the contractor shall inform to the GE as well as to the Engineer-in Charge for site inspection before applying further external finishes. M&L for preparing existing treated surfaces on walls/ceiling and making the surface smooth and applying 01 coat of Oil bound Distemper (white or tinted) by using roller to wall surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make of Interior : Acrylic distemper Asian (TRACTOR)/ Berger (BISON) / Nerolac (BEAUTY-SMOOTH).

M&L for preparing existing treated surfaces on walls including cornices and applying one coat of white wash by making the lime slaked at site and shall be mixed and stirred with about five liters of water for 1 kg of unslaked lime to make a thin cream. This shall be allowed to stand for a period of 24 hours and shall then be screened through clean coarse cloth 1 Kg of gum dissolved in hot water shall be added to every one cubic meter of lime cream about 1.3 Kg of sodium chloride dissolved in hot water shall also be added for every 10 kg of lime for making the coating hard and rüb resistant small quantity of ultramarine blue (upto 3 gm per kg of lime) shall also be added to the white wash solution and the whole solution shall be stirred thoroughly before use complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing existing treated surfaces on ceiling including cornices and applying one coat of white wash by making the lime slaked at site and shall be mixed and stirred with about five liters of water for 1 Kg of unslaked lime to make a thin cream. This shall be allowed to stand for a period of 24 hours and shall then be screened through clean coarse cloth. 1 kg of gum dissolved in hot water shall be added to every one cubic meter of lime cream about 1.3 Kg of sodium chloride dissolved in hot water shall also be added for every 10 kg of lme for making the coating hard and rub resistant. Small quantity of ultramarine blue (upto 3 gm per kg of lime) shall also be added to the of white wash solution and the whole solution shall be stirred thoroughly before use complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 3mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square not exc 0.5 sqm in each pane including painting / oiling to new putty to match with the existing/new surfaces, including hacking out old broken glass any thickness, size, quality or description from metal frame including punching or drilling out old glazing pins/spring clips complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 3mm thick figured glass pin head type and glazing with oil putty in square not exc 0.5 sqm in each pane including painting / oiling to new putty to match with the existing/new surfaces, including hacking out old broken glass any thickness, size, quality or description from metal frame including punching or drilling out old glazing pins/spring clips complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of wood and wood based material of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint all as specified & as directed.

M&L for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic.or Indian) not exceeding 30cm high complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for removing up roots of vegetation growth on building roof top/ sides of walls of any height n exc 30cm girth and applying suitable acid for burning of the roots in the RCC/ brick wall surfaces including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials to a distance n exc 50m and cleaning of site and making good of the disturbed surfaces in brick work in CM 1:4 and rendering 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 or pointing in the same mortar surface area n exc 1 sqm in each place complete all as specified and as directed. Note for serial item No 1.00 to 22.00 of BOQ : The cost for steel tubular double scaffolding necessary for execution of work and protective measures for height more than height of double storey building as directed by Engineer-in-Charge shall be included in the quoted rate against the respective item and nothing shall be admisible for this.
