S&F gun metal gate valve 20mm dia pipe with iron wheel both ends screwed for iron pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and Planting of Bottle Palm plants in poly bags of 0.25m to 0.30m with minimum height 1.2m to 1.50m including digging holes 0.90m dia x 0.90m deep in ordinary soil and refilling the same with the excavated earth mixed with manure of approved quality or sludge in the ratio 2:1 (2 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction of 20% with 1 part of stacked volume of sludge or manure of approved quality after reduction by 8%), flooding with water and removal of surplus soil, with & including using suitable chemicals or pesticides of approved quality, as required and making ‘Thaola’ complete all as specified and as directed :- Notes :- (i) The contractor’s quoted rates shall be deemed to include for necessary excavation and earth work, necessary manure or sludge and antitermite treatment of soil including necessary chemicals etc. (ii) The excavated earth if found suitable and approved by GE shall be used for filling in the holes after planting of trees/plants. However, in case the excavated earth is not found suitable for refilling and not approved by GE, contractor shall arrange suitable good earth from his own sources as approved by GE and contractor's quoted rates shall be deemed to include for arranging and transporting of good earth including filling in the holes and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

M&L for preparation of ground and plantation of grassing in lawn with “Doob” grass (Americal grass) in rows 5cm apart in either direction including digging of lawn area upto 30cm depth, breaking of clods, removal of stones etc, enough watering and maintenance of the lawn for 60 days or more till the grass forms a thick lawn free from weeds and fit for mowing including supplying good earth as required including supplying and spreading of Neem oil cakes, manure or sludge and chemical required for preparation of the ground for plantation of grass by uprooting vegetation etc, removing boulders, pebbles and leveling the surface flat or in slope complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The payment against this item will not be allowed immediately after plantation of grass. The payment against this item will only allowed after 60 days from date of plantation when the grass forms a thick lawn free from weeds.

Supply and planting of Hedge and Shrubbery (Mehndi, Tikkam & Sehjan and the like) as directed by Engineer-in-Charge including creation of Beds by excavating 60 cm deep and 60 cm wide trenching the excavated base to a further depth of 30 cm refilling the excavated earth after breaking clods and mixing with sludge or manure in the ratio 8:1 (8 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction of 20% with 1 part of stacked volume of sludge or manure after reduction by 8%) flooding with water filling with earth if necessary, watering and finally fine dressing leveling etc including stacking and disposal of material declared unserviceable and surplus earth by spreading and leveling as directed within a lead of 50 m and lift up to 1.50 m complete all as specified and as directed.

SCHEDULE ‘A’ SECTION-II

M&L for maintenance of all Plants, Hedge, shrubbery, Grass, etc provided under Sch 'A Sec-I by weeding, hosing, saucer making once in every month (minimum) for plants /hedge, once in every 15 days for carpet grass/country grass/doob grass, Barmuda grass pruning dried barnches, insect and pest management (as and when required), pruning dried branches once in every week (minimum), depositing the material at place as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and planting the new plants in place of dead plants of same species and height turning without any extra cost to the department including watering of Plants, Hedge grass using own arrangements, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Contractor shall be responsible for all necessary arrangements for collection and conveyance of water from MES water supply points/source located upto 10 KM from the site for watering of Plants, Hedge, Shrubbery and Grass. Necessary water tanker with tractor, water browser, PVC pipes, etc required for watering purpose shall be contractor’s responsibility and quoted rates of this item shall deemed to include this provision. Manure & pesticide required for maintenance of plant under this item shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and cost of the same shall be deemed to included in the rate quoted against this item.
