Dismantling bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles on roof terrace, in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons etc laid dry or laid dry and pointed and removing from site complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of cast iron drain pipe of 100mm bore, jointed in CM and taking out from trenches, if required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured and paid separately

Dismantling of cast iron drain pipe of 75mm bore, jointed in CM and taking out from trenches, if required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured and paid separately

Demolition and breaking up 150 mm bore drain pipes (salt glazed stone ware, AC or reinforced concrete) including concrete bed and haunching and removing rubbish to a distance not exc 50m complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down steel window / ventilator of any description and of any type with or without guard bars and making good the disturbed portion complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down old unserviceable cooler stand of any size & any type fixed on external face of walls at cill level of windows at ground floor and first floor of building including cutting holes and making good the disturbed portion with cement mortar or PCC after refixing new cooler stand complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster or cement lime plaster on PCC/stone surface/brick surfaces of walls including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6),type C-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L precast cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in window or door cills, lintels, brssumers, steps, quoin blocks (for use with masonary), string courses, copings, kneelers, apex stones, kerb stone, pier caps, columns, posts, boundary pillars, bed plates, pintle blocks, anchorage blocks and simillar articles with plain faces, corbels, brackets, etc (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc and set in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in cover slabs of drains, manholes, septic tanks, soakage wells etc. including placing in position and set in CM (1:6) complete all as specified & as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: - Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for continuous brick edging (sub class ‘B’) with width equal to the length of brick laid dry on edge vertically including necessary earth work, embedding bricks at depth as indicated and temping around bricks and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Each row shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F galvanized mild steel wire cloth 0.56 mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.18mm and fixed with tinned tacks or galvanized wire staple complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair galvanized mild steel wire cloth 0.56 mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.18mm and fixed with tinned tacks or galvanized wire staple complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railings, cooler stand, framework of water tanks and similar works of quality Fe 290 (Gde E-165) etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F mild steel framed work as in doors / gates / steel frames etc. of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc, complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering including necessary welding etc and fixing in position of quality Fe 290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Cost of welding of butt hinges to the door frame deemed to included in quoted rate and butt hinges shall be measured & paid for “Supply only” separately under relevant item of this BOQ

S&F factory made window, made out of MS hollow section of size 79mm x 39mm x 1.6mm thick frame with double shutter (glazed and wire guage shutter) made out of Z section using flush butt welding and tenon riveting all as per IS 1038/83, dobby hinges shall be provided to both shutter, locking arrangement as per sample approved by GE, provided with knob 'Z' section handles 100mm size and 150 mm long hook and eye welded to frame and shutter,four number legs welded to frame including necessary flat iron beading for securing wire gauge etc including holes, cutting holes for hold fast and making good disturbed surfaces in PCC (1:2:4) type B1 to match with the existing surfaces complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F factory made steel ventilator with top / hung shutter including hinges, steel peg stay, handle including one shop coat of Zinc Chromate primer and cutting holes in brick wall built in cement mortar for inserting lugs and making good dismantled portion in cement mortor (1:3) or cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-I complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for machine cut Kota stone slab flooring 18 to 20mm thick (minimum size 550mm x 550mm or size as directed) laid over & including screed bed or bedding layer of 15mm thick in CM (1:6) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for machine cut Kota stone slab 18 to 20mm thick (minimum size 550mm x 100mm or size as directed), on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting, raiser of steps etc. laid over & including rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:4) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including cutting, grinding, rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of mud phuska in roof any thickness including plastering & leeping (whether full thickness removed or only part thereof) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Roof treatment to RCC roof as follows :- (a) Cutting & uprooting grass on roof top, removing rubbish off the premises, cleaning the roof surfaces thoroughly using wire brushes to remove sharp projections,cleaning joints,washing,drying and removing all dirt/dust to receive concrete padding/ plaster etc complete. (b) Spraying neat cement slurry & provide 40mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in roof finished even and smooth with using extra cement. (c) Providing one coat of approved bituminous primer @ 1.2 Kg per sqm, over dried plastered surface. (d) Providing 20 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar (1:4) mixed with WPC, finished even and smooth without using extra cement. (e) Laying 3mm thick APP membrane, (mineral finish) reinforced with non woven polyster fabric, by torch application. The overlapping while torching shall be 75mm on longitudinal direction and 100 mm on the transverse direction complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Makes:-STP / Dr Fixit Pidilite / Texas Notes: (i) All joints and change in directions should be covered with cement mortar (1:3) mixed with SBR latex @ 200 ml/bag of cement/ as per site requirement and cured well before laying membrane by torching. (ii) All angles and abuttments should be sealed well with extra care to ensure full bondage. (iii) Cost of WPC is included in the unit rate of this item nothing extra shall be paid. (iii) Water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by experience person and membrance shall be procured from the manufacturer or authorised dealer of manufacturer. (iv) The guarantee of treatment shall be for minimum 10 years

M&L for 40mm thick brick tiles laid on and joints grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No. 28 here-in-above but except brick tiles. Note : Old serviceable brick tiles retrieved from serial item No 4 of BOQ here-in-before shall be used under this item.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in plinth protection, finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Plinth protection shall be laid to slope (1 in 30) in bays not exceeding 3 metre in length and joints of 6 mm wide and 10 mm deep shall be provided along the wall and bays and same shall be filled with sealing compound grade B. Cost of ceiling compund is included in the unit rate of this item

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F factory casted 80mm thick precast concrete interlocking paving blocks M-40 having compressive strength not less than 400 Kg / Sqcm using grey cement and with pigment and of shape hexagon/ triangular / zigzag / I-shaped / Three-X etc as directed conforming to IS 15658-2006, laid dry over and including 25mm thick layer of local tibba sand cushining over complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F factory casted 60mm thick machine pressed cement concrete interlocking paving blocks M-35 having compressive strength not less than 350 Kg / Sqcm using grey cement and no pigment and of shape hexagon/ triangular / zigzag / I-shaped / Three-X etc as directed conforming to IS 15658-2006, laid over & including 25mm thick sand cushion (local tibba sand), laid dry, joint filled with dry sand complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for glossy finished chequered cement concrete tiles of size 20cm x 20cm x 25mm thick laid in floors, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with grey cement and pigment to match the shade of tiles over and including 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faced or on other than fair face surface of brick masonary or concrete surface of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:3) on brick or concrete surface of ceiling, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for rough cast finish plaster with a mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine gravel aggregate mixed with coarse sand and cement in the ratio of 1:1:1 over & including 12mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:3 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of walls & applying two coats of cement base paint of approved shade/tint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of old decorated, plastered or pointed surfaces of ceiling by brooming down or steel wire brushing,scrapping down smoke soot moulds, moss and efflorescent, salts and treating oil & greasy spots etc and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Make : Asian Paints (Brand - ACE) / Berger Paint (Brand - Shingar) & Nerolac Paint (Brand - Total) Note :- After complete removal of existing treatment surfaces shall be inspected by the Engineer-in-Charge and further each coat of exterior paint and primer shall be applied only after passed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment including preparation of surfaces and applying two coats of cement base paint shade/tint on walls complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls by brooming down or steel wire brushing,scrapping down smoke soot mulds, moss and efflorescent, salts etc and applying a coat of cement based paint complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for writing letters or figures (Block. Roman, Italic or Indian) not exceding 30 cm high complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted wooden or wood based surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for cutting into existing manhole/Septic tank/Soak well for connecting new drains making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 150mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Note :- A sum of Rs. 59415/- will be deducted on account of credit for dismantled/ demolished / taken down material.
