Lump sum price worked out for External Water Supply as listed in Sch `A’ Part III

SCHEDULE 'A' PART - VI Misc Items is not prepriced by MES and prepriced rates indicates 0.0 under column 5 signified this fact only. Bidder shall insert their rates in Green filed under Col-6.

Supplying, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing 150mm bore centrifugally cast (Spun) ductile iron pressure pipe with spigot and socketed ends class K-9, confirming to IS : 8329/2000 blast furnace slag cement with portland cement properties suitable for rubber gasket jointing / tyton joints with inside cement mortar lining and black bitumen external coating, duly (ISI marked) laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) DI fittings shall be measured and paid separately under respective items (ii) Pipes shall be laid in trenches already excavated for taking out old GI pipe line. Extra excavation / earthwork shall not be paid.

Supply and fix Foot Valve conforming to IS 4038, 100 mm (4”) dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of centrifugal pump electric motor driven capacity not less than 40 LPS discharge at 40 metre head in load C.I casing single stage with impeller, bronze working parts carbon steel shaft and directly coupled to motor, 'B' class insulation, squirrel cage induction motor working on single phase 220 volts AC both pump & motor mounted on common base plate alongwith suitable rigid foundation, nuts, bolts with coupling gurads and antivibration rubber pads in an approved manner including PCC 1:2:4 (type B-1) using 20mm graded stone aggregate of required size 60x60x30cm with finishing surface even and smooth with using extra cement etc complete all a specified. Note :- (i) Pump, centrifugal, horizontal, spilt type not less than 40 LPS discharge at 40 metre head 1440 RPM having impeller and stainless steel shaft single stage directly coupled with electric motor through flexible coupling complete with fittings,cutting,welding work as required at site to connect with the existing suction/discharge pipe line. (ii) soft star suitable for above motor - 01 No (ii) Squirrel cage indication motor, TEFC, 3 Phase 415 Volts 50 C/S AC supply 1440 RPM,not less than 40 HP directly coupled to centrifugal pump set . (iii) Common base foundation of ISMC - 100 suitable for installation of above pump set duly drilled holes and painted with two coats synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide primer. (iv) Foundation in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded aggregate,30 cm above GL and 15 cm below GL and as per size of common base foundation/standard engg practice as directed by Engg-in-Charge (v) Bourdons type pressure gauge 3" dia dial type. (vi) Pipe fittings etc reqd for connecting with the existing suction discharge pipe line including cutting / welding as required at site and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Construction of brick masonry valve pit of internal size 110cm x 110cm x 90cm including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, brick work, plastering, white wash, PCC coping, MS frame made out of angle iron of size 40mmx40mmx6 mm, MS sheet cover of 3 mm thick fixed to angle iron frame by means of hinges welded to frame and painting with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces and grouting the frame in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including handle and locking arrangement with one number 50 mm dia brass pad lock , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge Note :-(i) Brick wall shall be 23 cm thick built in cement mortar (1:4) (ii) Internal plaster shall be 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) and external plaster upto 450mm from top shall be 20mm thick in CM (1:6) and remaining external surface shall be flush pointing in CM (1:6) as the work proceeds. (iii) PCC in foundation shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate extended 15 cm all around from the external face of the walls. (iv) PCC coping shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete ( 1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate including grouting of angle iron frame in PCC. (v) Two coats of white wash to internal surfaces of valve pit. (vi) Depth of wall pit shall be reckoned from the top of PCC in foundation.

Cutting existing CI/DI pipe line of 150 mm and inserting tee of size 150x150x150mm for taping complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying & fixing DI fittings confirming to IS-9523-2000 suitable for spigot & socketed pipes such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc),tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross collar, caps and plugs etc. suitable for spigot and socketed pipes upto 150 mm bore, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S & F indicator ( Water level indicator of RCC UG reserved) with synthetic enamel paint as per colour code and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S & F in PVC floats of size 300mm with PVC wire, red painting iron plate as per existing size including changing of nilon rope etc complete all as directed in all RCC UG reservoir.

S & F copper submersible cable 10 sq mm ,3 core for connection of Pump to Panel.
