M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in pedestal of bore well including sanitary sealing of bore well & bacterogical treatment etc, making weathring, slightly rounded or chambered angle and throating in concrete and necessary form work, finishing all exposed faces of concrete even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Trial bore holes 150 mm dia in any type of strata (except hard rock) of bore well (if the same is found fit then to be continued with further process otherwise to fill up the same hole), preaparing and submitting the strata details both graphically recorded as well as strata results complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The rates quoted shall deemed to include to get survey done for availability/feasiability of water as recommended by GWD before execution of work.

Widening of trial bore by drilling with Rotary systems in any type of strata (except hard rock) upto 450 mm dia bore at any depth including all works pertaining to boring in all respect complete all as specified and directed.

Widening of trial bore by DTH method in hard rock upto 200 mm dia bore at any depth till meeting water strata including all works pertaining to boring in all respect complete all as specified and directed.

Widening of trial bore by drilling with ODEX system in hard rock upto 200 mm dia bore at any depth including all works pertaining to boring, complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out from unserviceable bore well existing unserviceable plain casing pipe of 200mm bore and Supply, assembling, jointing, lowering and fixing/holding in position ERW MS casing pipe ISI marked (IS-4270-1992), 200 mm dia of 5.4 mm thickness (minimum) upto required depth below ground level in all strata including cutting welding of pipe at joints and strenghthening joints by providing 04 Nos. MS strips of size 300mm long of flat iron 50x6mm at each joint of pipe with proper welding all around the strips and finishing external/outside surface of casing pipe by applying two coats of approved bitumenous anicorrosive paint before lowering complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rate quoted shall deemed to include for arrangement of all T & P required for Taking out/dismantling of casing pipe.

Taking out from unserviceable bore well existing unserviceable slotted casing pipe of 200mm bore and and Supply, assembling, jointing, lowering and fixing/holding in position ERW MS slotted casing pipe, 200 mm dia of 5.4 mm thickness (minimum) having slots of 1.59 mm wide 75 mm long assembled and lowered as per location chart approved by the GE in all strata including cutting welding of pipe at joints and strenghthening joints by providing 04 Nos. MS strips of size 300mm long of flat iron 50x6mm at each joint of pipe with proper welding all around the strips and finishing external/outside surface of casing pipe by applying two coats of approved bitumenous anicorrosive paint before lowering complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rate quoted shall deemed to include for arrangement of all T & P required for Taking out/dismantling of casing pipe.

Taking out from unserviceable bore well existing unserviceable column pipe of 50mm bore including old unserviceable submersible pump sets and M & L for 50 mm bore GI, medium grade, column pipe (Length of each pipe shall not exceed 3 metre), with flanged joints, flanges of pipe duly fitted with proper size GI nut, bolts & rubber gasket etc as required at site suspended in deep well complete with slotted clamps of required size at regular intervals for holding submersible cable all as required for completion of work complete all as specified & directed. Note : Rate quoted shall deemed to include for arrangement of all T & P required for Taking out/dismantling of column pipe and detaching submersible pump sets.

Supply and packing with Pea gravel of 4.6 mm to 8 mm size of approved quality as ordered to pack around the casing/slotted pipe in bore well, complete, all as specified and directed.

Development of bore well by compressed air with compressor of minimum capacity of 150 PSI/450 CFM, till sand/mud free clean water is obtained to obtain minimum discharge 25000 LPH complete all as specified & directed.

Conducting yield test of bore well by Submersible motor pump (driven by Generator Set) for minimum discharge capacity of 25000 LPH for at least 16 Hrs of continous run, preparing and submitting report complete all as directed.

Testing of water for potability, dissolved solids, physical/chemical, bacterogical testing etc from authorised Govt Lab and submission of testing report complete all as directed.

S & F well cap of 200 mm dia size on top of pipe with locking arrangement of 16 guage MS sheet complete all as directed.

S & F housing clamp 90 cm long 7.5 cm wide made out of 6 mm thick MS plate for 200 mm dia casing pipe with necessary MS Bolts, nuts & washers at ground level grouted in bed block casted in PCC (1:2:4:) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for strata sample box of second class hard wood (Hollock/Bijasal) of size 40cm x 30 cmx 20 cm, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning submersible pump set, electric driven, 3 Phase, 415 volt, 50 Hz, 16 stage having discharge upto 14000 Lit/hrs at 160m head of capacity 15 HP complete, all as specified & directed. Model No. & Make :- Model No. 80HHN-1518 50MM SF of Make Kirloskar or equivalent model of make KSB/Crompton Greaves/ Wasp /Beacon.

Taking out old unserviceable flat submersible cable of any size from bore well to starter panel and S & F 6 sqmm multistranded copper conductor 3 core ,PVC insulated and sheathed 1100 volts grade flat submersible cable, fixed to column pipes with suitable clamps and jointing material complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Submersible cable shall pass through GI pipe from starter panel board to submersible pump. (b) GI protection pipe shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of the BOQ.

M & L for pouring and filling of abondoned unserviceable borewell with approved earth in layers and ramming the earth properly to achieve maximum compaction complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down steel tubing and connections 80mm bore and removing unserviceable pipe from site and Supplying, laying, jointing/connecting and testing for 80mm bore steel tubing galvanised medium grade with all fitting laid in trenches, fixed to walls, ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Exacavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Taking down old unserviceable non return valve and supply, install, connecting and testing of cast iron body non return valve, 80mm bore (as per IS 5312), heavy duty, double flanged, ISI marked including jointing materials i.e rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts etc for submersible pump complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable sluice valve and supply, install, connecting and testing of sluice valve, 80mm dia bore, class PN- 1.6, double flanged with CI body, wheel and brass spindle and nuts etc., non rising type IS- 14846 marked including jointing materials i.e. rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for connection GI Pipe Line 80 mm to CI/GI pipe (water mains) in position for branch connection upto 80/100 mm dia pipe including suitable fittings, clamps and rubber locking etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable LT UG cable and Supplying, Fixing/laying, jointing, testing and commisioning of size 3.5 core 25 Sqmm LT under ground cable, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 1100 Volt grade, laid in trenches / ducts / encased in GI pipe / fixed to pole/wall complete all as specified and directed Note :- Exacavation and earth work, GI pipe for laying of cable, sand cushioning, cable protection cover shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items of the BOQ.

M & L for brick work with FLY ASH BRICKS {As per IS-13757 (1993) burnt clay fly ash building bricks}, (OLD SIZE BRICKS) with width equal to the length of the brick laid dry & flat abutted with each other with gap between adjacent bricks not exc 10 mm over UG cable for protection, complete, all as specified & directed.

M & L sand cushioning for under ground cable 23cm thick (one layer of 8cm thickness before laying the cable and other layer of 15cm thickness after laying the cable) all as directed. (NOTE- Thickness after punning shall be considered for payment.)

S & F in replacement Galvanised steel tubing 50mm bore light grade for protection of under ground cable/submersible cable on poles / walls under road crossing, starter panel to submersible pump etc conforming to IS-1239 and including clamps complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid separately under respective item of this BOQ.

Taking down old unserviceable LT panel and Supply, installing, testing and commissioning, factory made and tested (incl CPRI type test certified), LT feeder pillar box (KIOSK) of adequate dimensions (as per Indian Electricity rules) to accommodate following components, outdoor type, platform mounted, suitable for 415 volts 3 phase 4 wire, 50 Hz AC supply system, having bus bar chamber with insulated Copper bus bars 200 Amps rating installed on porcelain insulators. The panel shall be dust and vermin proof, IP-65 class protection and made of 3.15mm CRCA MS sheet and 40x40x6mm thick angle iron frame work, powder coated finish over one coat of red oxide primer outside and two coats of red oxide primer on inside, front & rear opening type, with aprons for cable entry, with double door shutter and locking arrangement {including provn of 65mm Godrej (Freedom) lock with 2 keys}, internal wiring with PVC insulated, multistranded copper conductor, FRLS cables, IS-694 marked of adequate size but not less than 4 sqmm. The scope of work includes the following:- INCOMING & OUTGOING (a) Copper bus bar of rating 200 Amps for four pole including PVC heat shrink sleeves (RYB & N ) on porcelain/fibre insulator suitably spaced : 01 Set (b) MCCB four pole 100 Amp confirming to IEC 60947-2 & IS – 13947-3 thermal magnetic release and adjustable over load setting 0.8 – 1.0 x In and adjustable short circuit setting 6 – 10 x In and rupturing capacity 16 KA at 415 V AC , 50 Hz complete - 01 No.

(c) MCB TPN 63 Amps, 415 volts, C-curve rupturing capacity 9 KA conforming to IS-8828-1996, IEC-60898 - 01 No (d) Fully automatic AC 3 Phase Star Delta starter, suitable for 15 HP electrical motor - 01 No. (e) Volt Meter 0-500 Volts, 3 Phase, Class-1, 50 Hz AC, Digital type square shape of size 96mm x 96mm - 01 No. (f) Amp Meter 0-50 Amp, 415 Volts, 3 Phase, Class-1, 50 Hz AC, Digital type square shape of size 96mm x 96mm - 01 No. (g) Indication lamps R,Y,B ( LED type) with toggle switch - 01 Set. (h) Single Phase Preventor : 01 No. (j) Phase Sequence corrector for 15 HP motor, 3 phase - 01 No. (k) Power factor correction capacitor, bottle type, 3 KVAR, 3 Phase - 01 No. Notes (a) All armoured cables shall enter through bottom of the feeder pillar duly glanded and socketed and connected to MCCB/cable terminal. Cost of glanding socketing etc are deemed to be included in the unit rate of feeder pillar. (b) All the out going cable shall be terminated in bakellite cable connector and shall be duly glanded and socketed. (c) All the cables (power and control wiring ) should be terminated duly socketed with heavy duty tinned copper lugs, GI bolts/screws nuts, flat washers and spring washers as required. (d) White acrylic marker plate (for feeder / switch marking ) to be provided with black lettering by heat press machine as indicated in drawing and to be pasted over the panel door/near the cable connector with high quality adhesive. (e) The cost of platform/foundation with PCC shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (f) The consolidated rate for Srl No. 12.00 & 12.10 shall be quoted against Srl No. 12.00 of BOQ.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 60 cm X 60 cm X 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to galvanized strip 25x4mm earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel besides welding at all joints as shown in drawing and including excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 40mm bore for protection of strip and connected to continous earth lead on pole/test point, supplying and laying charcoal dust common salt PCC 1:2:4 type B1, chamber and MS angle iron frame 40x40x3mm and RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6mm dia round bars @ 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia, PGI funnel and wire mesh, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering all as shown in electrical plate No 3 on srl page No 497 of SSR Part I (2009) drawing and connection to earth test point including testing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The cost of earth lead /strip and GI pipe for protection of earth lead/strip upto 7.5m is included in the quoted rate. (ii) The cost of excavation, earth work is included in the quoted rate.
