These data must be displayed on auto scroll for a period of 10 seconds continuously and with push button on demand. (v) Remote load limiter and connection/disconnection on demand. (vi) Remote firmware upgrade facility. (vii) Integration with billing and collection software, mapping, Consumer, indexing, analysis software and outage management data system. (viii) Security features to prevent unauthorised access to the AMI including smart meter and meter data and to ensure authentication of all AMI elements by CERT auditors. (ix) Temper event detection recording and repeating as per IS:15959 Part 2. (x) LED indication for phase presence and relay status. (xiv) The smart meters shall have a dedicated sealable slot for accommodating plug in type bidirectional communication module which shall integrate the respective communication technology (RF/PLC/Cellular/Hybrid) with the smart meters. (xv) Power supply unit in the meter shall be transformer less to avoid magnetic influence. (xvi) Meter shall be tamper proof. No tampering shall be possible through optical port. Complete metering system & measurement shall not be affected by the external electromagnetic interference such as electrical discharge of cables and capacitors, harmonics, electrostatic discharges, external magnetic fields and DC current in AC supply etc. (xx) In case of RF communication the cost of DCU & Repeater required in requisite Nos as per design approved by the GE are included in above quoted rates. Note: - The quoted rates are including the following: (i) Polycarbonate meter box compatible to IP 66/67 including sealing arrangement as per relevant IS. (ii) Multistranded copper conductor (FRLS) of suitable size and in required length to meet functional reqt of AMI system. (d) Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Data Concentrator Unit (DCU) for RF communication as per design requirement having the following features and functionality: (i) it shall be able to configure the communication based on any of the GPRS/RF/Hybrid/any other advanced technology as per CEA/TRAI regulation. (ii) It shall pull data from field devices and push the data at configured intervals to the HES. It should also support the HES in pulling data from the field devices/meters. (viii) DCU shall periodically monitor meter reads/downstream commands and shall retry and reconnect in case of failed events/ reads. (ix) It shall push events as tamper, power off etc to HES immediately on occurrence/ receipt from field devices/ meters. DCU shall be able to acquire and send data to HES for full capacity (as per designed for no of meters/field devices) to ensure the performance level. (x) After power interruption and on restoration of power supply, DCU shall establish communication with underlying devices as well as upstream application automatically.
