The bidder is required to have prior work experience in Civil Engineering works. The bid capacity of the prospective bidders will be calculated based on the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the year indicated in the Bidding Document. The assessed available bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the Project work, which is Rs. 228.64 Lac. Regarding the value and percentage of similar works completed, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one, or a maximum of three, contracts. The minimum value of one similar work is Rs 18291 Lac, two similar works each is Rs 11432 Lac, and three similar works each is Rs 9146 Lac. The bidder should have a minimum turnover of Rs 9148 Lac and a bid capacity of more than Rs 22864 Lac. The bidder should also have experience in construction of Water Supply Scheme, including distribution network of pipeline, house hold water connection, etc., with a minimum length of distribution pipe line for water supply scheme of 6750 mt or more of PVC/HDPE/ DI pipe having a minimum size of 63 mm or more, and RCC work M25 or more, 44 cum or more. Additionally, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work as defined in the Bid Data Sheet of value not less than 180% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The values of work can be updated to current price levels by indexing the value of executed works at the rate given in the Bid Data Sheet.
