The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing similar works during the last ten years. The conditions for similar works are: a. Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the estimated cost of work put to bid, b. two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work put to bid, or c. one similar work costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost of work put to bid. At least one completed work of similar nature should have been executed with a Central/ State Government Organisation, costing not less than 30% of the estimated cost put to tender. The similar work should be related to "sewer laying/sewer rehabilitation/open drain work" and include at least one contract of sewer network system/Open Drain system with a minimum diameter/width of drain = 2/3rd of max Dia/width of pipe/Drain (i.e., 600 mm) in a minimum length of 500 meters. The value of executed works/turnover shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual values at 7% per year calculated from the date of completion to the last date of submission of tenders. The percentages of similar works completed are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the estimated cost of work put to bid, and the amount is not less than 30% of the estimated cost put to tender.
