The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works of a similar nature. For works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed, in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. Additionally, the bidder needs to provide details of their experience in similar works, including the estimated cost, and demonstrate their capability to execute the proposed work. The bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the project/work, and they should have a list of equipment and machinery available with documentary proof of ownership or lease deed of machinery proposed for deployment for execution of work. The bidder is also required to undertake that they will be able to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the contract value of the work during the implementation of the work, and provide reports on their financial standing, such as profit and loss statements and auditor's reports for the past 5 years, and evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities, certified by the Bankers, which should be at least 10% of the contract value.
