The required prior work experience for the bidder includes providing information on current contract commitments and an undertaking to invest a minimum of 25% of the contract value. The bidder should have a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed. For works above a certain value, the bidder should have completed works of a certain value, with specific details to be provided, including the name of the work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion. The bidder should also have an assessed available bid capacity, which is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The values of works can be updated to current price levels. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. The bidder should also have access to lines of credit and financial resources facilities, which should be at least 10% of the contract value. The bidder is required to provide information on their experience in similar works, including details such as contract value, percentage and amount of participation of the firm in the project/work, and percentage and amount sub-contracted by the firm. The bidder should also provide information on their role in the contract and details on the nature of the works, contract duration, and specified requirements. The bidder should have an undertaking to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of work. The bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the project, calculated as per clause 4.4. In terms of specific values, the bidder should provide the amount of the contract in the relevant currency, with figures in INR to be worked out as per SBI Foreign Currency selling rates prevalent on 01.04.20. The bidder should also provide the percentage of work completed. The maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years should also be provided, updated to the price level of the year indicated in the Appendix to ITB. The bidder should demonstrate significant experience in similar works, with a strong track record of completing contracts of similar nature and complexity.
