The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work, in the last five years. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. For the value and percentage of similar works completed, the bidder is required to provide details of their experience in similar works, including the amount and percentage of similar works completed. However, specific values and percentages are mentioned for works above Rs. 10.00 Crores, where the bidder should have completed one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. Additionally, the bidder should provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed, including the name of the work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion. The bidder is also required to provide evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities, which is 10% of the contract value, certified by the bankers, and an undertaking to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation.
