The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the "Bid Capacity" which is calculated based on the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. For works above Rs. 5.00 Crores, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed, in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The values of works can be updated to current price levels. The bidder is also required to provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, including the name of the work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion. Additionally, the bidder should undertake to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the contract value of the work during implementation and have access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities (10% of contract value).
