The bidder should have satisfactorily completed one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost, or two similar works each of value not less than 60% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work, as a prime contractor or as a nominated subcontractor, within the last five years. The values of works may be enhanced at a simple rate of 8% per annum. Additionally, the bidder should provide a performance certificate from the authority for whom the job was completed. In terms of specific amounts, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover (in similar works) equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last five financial years. The bidder is also required to undertake that they will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of the work during its implementation. For works above 1.00 Crore, the bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the total value of their financial bid.
