The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The values and percentages mentioned are 30%, 40%, 60%, and the amount of Rs 500 crore as the average annual turnover for a public listed company, and Rs 50 lakh as the threshold for subletting work without requiring previous work experience. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, but this requirement is waived for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh.
