The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing certain similar works within the last 07 years. The similar works can be one of the following: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The definition of similar nature of work includes "Fabrication and erection of side pathway & trolley refuges on existing bridge steel girders or Fabrication/Repair of railway bridge steel girders etc." Additionally, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. The tenderer is required to submit copies of Audited Balance Sheets duly certified by the Chartered Accountant/Certificate from Chartered Accountant duly supported by Audited Balance Sheet. No specific information on the percentage of similar works completed is available. However, the percentages of the advertised value of the tender for similar works are 30%, 40%, and 60%.
