The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar nature of work within the last 7 years. The values and percentages of similar works completed are as follows: - For component B: 30%/40%/60% of Rs. 20 Cr - For component C: 35% of Rs. 5 Cr - For a combined component: the combined advertised value of all such components, for example, 30%/40%/60% of Rs. 25 Cr = 20 Cr + 5 Cr - Component with value Rs. 23 Cr: 30/40/60% of Rs. 23 Cr in 3/2/1 no(s) of works of similar nature completed in 7 years - Component with value Rs. 15 Cr: 30/40/60% of Rs. 15 Cr in 3/2/1 no(s) of works of similar nature completed in 7 years - Component with value Rs. 5 Cr: 35% of Rs. 5 Cr single work of similar nature completed in the last 5 years - Component with value Rs. 4 Cr: 35% of Rs. 4 Cr single work of similar nature completed in the last 5 years - Component with value Rs. 3 Cr: work experience as per specified criteria, which can be executed by the tenderer himself or through a sub-contractor. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following works during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have completed similar works for each component, with values of 30%, 40%, or 60% of the advertised value of each component. The cost of each component should be more than 2 crore. For subcontracting, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract in the last 5 years, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience is required. A substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The percentage of similar works completed is 90% for substantially completed work. The amount for similar works completed is the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid).
