The important information related to prior work experience under the technical capacity header includes: - The bidder should have completed at least one similar Major Bridge/ROB/Flyover project in the last 7 financial years, with a span equal to or greater than 80% of the longest span or 100m, whichever is less, of the structure proposed in the project, and 40% of the length of the Major Bridge/ROB/Flyover or 2 km, whichever is less. - In case of a tunnel, the bidder should have completed construction of at least one tunnel with 80% of the cross-sectional area of the proposed tunnel or a two-lane highway tunnel cross-sectional area, whichever is less, and 40% of the length of the tunnel or 2 km, whichever is less. - For stand-alone projects, the lead member of the joint venture should have completed at least one similar Major Bridge/ROB/Flyover project with a cost of at least the estimated project cost, and the cost of such a similar project should be at least the amount equal to the estimated project cost. - The lead member of the joint venture should meet at least 60% of the requirement of bid capacity, technical, and financial capacity, and each of the other joint venture members should meet at least 20% of the requirement. - One similar work of 20% of the estimated project cost should have been completed from eligible projects in category 1 and/or category 3 individually by any of the joint venture members as a single work. - For normal highway projects, including major bridges/ROB/flyovers/tunnels, at least either two similar completed works costing not less than 25% each of the estimated cost, or one similar completed work costing not less than 35% of the estimated cost, should have been completed from eligible projects in category 1. - A project is considered completed if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed, and such completed value of work is equal to or more than the above-mentioned criteria. - For Tunnel projects, the sole Bidder or the Lead member of the Joint Venture shall have completed at least one tunnel project in the last 7 financial years preceding the Bid Due Date. - The total payments received and/or revenues appropriated for self-construction for each Eligible Project are to be stated, with a break-up for the past 5 financial years. - The bidder should have received payments for construction of Eligible Project(s), or has undertaken construction works by itself in a PPP project, such that the sum total thereof, is more than Rs. 20.91 Crore. - The Threshold Technical Capacity is 0.75 times the Estimated Project Cost (EPC) if the EPC is less than or equal to 100 Crore, 1.0 time of EPC if the EPC is more than 100 Crore and less than or equal to 500 Crore, and 1.0 time of EPC if the EPC is more than 500 Crore.For normal Highway projects, including Major Bridges/ROB/Flyovers/Tunnels, at least either of the following should have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3: - two similar completed works costing not less than an amount equal to 25% each of the estimated cost, - or one similar completed work costing not less than an amount equal to 35% each of the estimated cost. One similar work of 20% of Estimated Project Cost should have been completed from the Eligible Projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3 individually by any of the JV members as a single work. Receipts of or work executed amount less than Rs. 1.05 Crore shall not be reckoned as receipts for Eligible Projects, and the amount should not be less than 5% of the estimated project cost. For a project to qualify as an Eligible Project under Categories 1 and 2, the capital cost of the project should be more than 5% of the amount specified as the Estimated Project Cost. The entity claiming experience shall have itself undertaken the construction of the project for an amount equal to at least one half of the Project Cost of eligible projects.
