Scarifying or picking existing damaged water bound macadam in patches (area not exceeding 400 Sqm) depth exceeding 50mm & not exceeding 100mm including removal of aggregate not exceeding 50 Mtr and stacking complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7.5cm thick WMM, with coarse aggregate consist of crushed rock, crushed gravel (granite, basalt or trap) or other hard materials. They shall be clean, hard and durable of cubical shape, free from dust and soft of triable matter or other deletarious matters. The specifications for binder and granular course shall be as per latest MORTH specification. The WMM shall satisfy the physical requirements as specified in para 20.B.2.5.2 to 20.B.2.5.4 and specifications as per Para 20.B.5.1 to 20.B.5.9 of SSR Pt-I complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Before sample of materials for aggregate is approved, these shall be tested for stripping. Where aggregates have poor affinity for bitumen, these shall be treated with approved anti stripping agents. (ii) The aggregate shall satisfy the physical requirement & grading requirement & shall be procured in bulk only after obtaning sample approval from the GE.

Preparing of unsurfaced water bound mecadum by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirts and applying evenly a priming/tack coat (paving bitumen VG10 grade) with bituminous primer @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with paving bitumen ( VG -30) @ 4% by weight of total Mix complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note :- for Srl Item No. 07 to 09 - (i) The actual binder content for BM & SDAC used shall be as per optimised content based on approved job mix formula irrespective of what ever indicated in BOQ. (ii) Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ Rs. 46900/- per MT (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. (iii) No Price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side.

M&L for Thermoplastic road marking paint not less than 2mm thick, white or golden yellow in colour, conforming to BS-3262, in lines, arrow, dashes & letters not exceeding 15cm in width, applied hot, using application unit and retroreflective glass beads @ 250 to 300 gram/Sqm to withstand vehicular traffic load, laid as per manufacture's instructions etc complete all as specified and directed. M&L for Moorum/red bajri for filling in floor or pavings or road side berms (spread compacted thickness shall be minimum 50mm) each layer not exc 15cm thick spread, leveled and rolled including watering, complete all as specified and directed. ( Note: Compacted / Consolidated thickness shall be measured & paid)

M&L for Rendering 15 mm thick on fair face of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, laid dry and removal of rubbish out off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry built in cement motor or cement lime motor including all quoins, arches, pillars etc and removal of rubbish out off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Continuous brick edging with width equal to the width of the old size brick laid dry on end vertically complete all as specified.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work using fly ash bricks(old size) straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded cunoted stone aggregate) as in mass concrete or in foundation complete all as sepecifeid & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
