Taking out old unservicable under ground LT XLPE / PVC cable of any size from trenches / wall / roof / road / pipe / pole / DB including taking out of brick layer of cable protection complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying or fixing GI tubing light grade 50 mm dia for cable protection including fitting complete with flat iron clamps size of flat iron 25mm x 4mm, nuts, bolts & washers complete fixed to poles / along wall / floor / under road / across the drain or nallah / laid in trench all as specified and directed by Engineer-in charge .

Demolitiong of old earth pit and Material and Labour Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including GI strip 32mm X 6 mm by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers, protected by 40 mm bore GI light grade pipe. Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer of charcoal or coke and common salt 15 cm thick all around bottom and top. 20 mm GI light grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh,RCC cover & frame, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in earthing pit including necessary excavation & earth work, all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part – I. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.

Supply and laying best quality , locally available well burnt clay brick old size class B laid dry flat for protection over the cable, width equal to the length of cable complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing in replacement of PVC insulated cord flexible 3 core 1.5 sqmm copper wire for connection of street light fitting from junction box/over head lines service connection complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement junction box ,size not less than 200mm x 160mm x 98mm, insulated type , made out with Polycarbonate with glass fiber reinforced. Note :-1.Manufacturer should submit routine test certificate for CJB/PJB 2.The Polycarbonate Junction Box shall be environment friendly, recyclabe, UV resistant, halogen & silicon free, anti acid & anti corrosive. 3. The Junction Box shall be rated for Degree of ingress Protection IP 66 in accordance with IEC 60529. 4.The gasket material of junction box shall be Polyurethane and the gasket shall be internally embedded. 5.The Junction Box shall be complies with requirements of the standards IEC 60998 - 1, IEC 60988 - 2 - 1, IEC 60670 - 22 & IEC 60670 - 2 - 5. 6. The Junction Box color according to RAL 9011. 7.The manufacturer of Junction Box / Enclosure shall submit a copy of IEC Certificate . For beter safety the Polycarbonate enclosure and shall be fire retardant & self - extinguishing in accordance with IEC 60695 - 2 - 11, DIN VDE 0304 Part - 3, UL Subject 94 for Flammability V-2. It should be tested at Glow Wire test for 960 degree Centigrade. The impact strength of Polycarbonate enclosure / boards i.e. the Degree of protection against mechnical load shall be in accordance with EN 50298 - 98 for IK 08.
