(iv) Working hours will be accounted from the actual starting time of work at site and not from the time of reporting at site.
(v) Contractor can be directed to provide plougher /leveller (kraha)/trolley with tractor in lieu of mulcher as per users'/site requirements.
(vi) To accounting the period for payment a Log book shall be maintained at site indicating working hours with location, date & time and shall be signed by contractor, concerned JE and Engineer-in-Charge. Log Book complete in all respects shall be produced before GE while claiming every RAR/Final Bill. (vii) In the autumn season i.e. Sep to Dec or any other period during the currency of contract when there is no growth of grass, vegetation, shrubs, bushes, small trees etc, the cutting and removal of the same shall only be done with written orders of GE, if required at site. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained on this account. (viii) The cut grass/vegetation/shrubs/bushes etc shall be sweeped with brooms from the area of runway and taxi track immediately after cutting.
