Providing, laying and compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) 50mm thickness compacted thickness conforming to clause 504 of MORTH Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc. of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), premixed with bituminous binder, Bitumen grade VG-30 @ 4.0% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100 - 120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Mix Design for bituminous macadam shall be got designed from NIT / CTL / Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 4.0% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MORTH specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 45.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete (BC) layer conforming to clause 507 of MORTH specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved Job Mix Formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineralaggregate, filler and bitumen to the specific temperature, thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per mix design in Hot Mix Plant (Batch Type) of 100 - 120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber thorough rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer in Charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Note : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against items considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job mix formula as per clause No 505.3.3 of MORTH Specifications for Road and Bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT / CTL / Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 5.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.5 of MORTH specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) The cost of materials, transportation, Job Mis Formula from lab and testing charges for various tests as required are included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Cost of filler i.e rock dust, hydrated lime or cement is deemed to be included in unit rate. (iv) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 45.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made. (v) After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 of MORTH Specifications entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8 - 10 tonnes (Smooth Wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8 - 10 tonnes static weight, followed by finish rolling with 6 to 8 tonnes smooth sheeled tandem roller as per clause No 507.4.8 of MORTH Specifications (Fifth Revision) and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Material & Labour for 2.5 mm thick road marking thermo plastic reflective paint to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5 Kg/Sqm) and glass beads @ 250 gm / Sqm confirming to CI No. 803.4 of MoRTH in strips of 100 / 150mm width on road surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

100mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in sub base flooring

Material & Labour for machine pressed rubber moulded ISI marked precast cement concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and no pigment any shape and size conforming to IS : 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 grade with 6mm top layer of anti abrasive material, including filling of interstices with fine sand laid over and including 25 mm thick (compacted) fine sieved sand cushioning of size and shape as decided by GE complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fix Road convex mirror of size 800mm fixed with stainless steel pole of size 50mm dia and minimum height 1.75 mtr with grouting in PCC 1:2:4 type B2 of 300x300x300mm in base including excavation and earthwork complete all as specified. Make as approved by GE

Supply & Fix in repairs Road cat eyes of size 100mm x 100mm x 20 mm meeting with ASTM and MORTH STANDARD WITH YELLOW reflectors, yellow body colour and two saides lens all as specified and directed. The stud shall be fixed to the road surface using adhesive conforming to IS as per manufactures recommendations complete. Make of road cat eye as approved by GE.

Supply & Fix in repairs Delineator fitted with ABS round body fitted with 2 No 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on MS pipe of 45/50mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands green, red and yellow radium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel newt for reflector protection including necessary fixing arrangements, grouted in 150x150x300mm PCC 1:2:4 type C2 block including excavation and earth work complete all as specified Make as approved by GE

Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (light sensor 100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt on NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright 3 LED's of colur red/yellow on one side with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures in structions etc. all as specified and directed.

Speed bump of dimension 350 x 250 x 53mm made out of ABS with resistance, wear tear properly highly reflectors moulded in PMMA material, welded with ABS base plate fixed on road with adhesive and Zinc plated nails as recommended by the manufacturers complete all as directed.

Material and labour for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed in cement mortar 1:3 including making joints with or without grooves (thickness ofjoint except at sharp curves shall not be more than 5mm) including making drainage opening where ever required complete all as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) of any description, in ground floor not exceeding 150mm thick above or below ground level compete all as specified and as directed.
