Material & Labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm×6mm thick electrode burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below GL) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below the normal ground level connected with GI wire 4 mm dia as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m, with and including PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4), type B1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, provn of 40 mm RCC with handle, watering arrangement with funnel internally secured with wire mesh with 20 mm dia medium grade GI pipe for watering, 40 mm dia light grade Gl pipe for lead protection in and including alternate layer of charcoal dust and common salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) connected to earthing test point all as specified and indicated including testing on completion including retrieving of old GI earth plate, CI cover, GI pipes, angle iron frame from existing earthing as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : - (i). Earthing strip GI/copper upto 7.5m will be measured and paid under this item only. (ii). The earth chamber shall be constructed 50 cm away from the edge of earth pit and the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the rate quoted for above item. (ii). Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cost of demolition of old earthing as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (iii). The new earthing so constructed must have resisitance value below 2 ohms. If the aforesaid resistance value is not achieved contractor has to make proper aadditions/alterations to the newly constructed earthing at his own cost.

Material and labour for Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-40 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, conforming to IS 15658:2006 made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand laid over and including 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

Sch 'A' Sec - V (Part-II), (FIRE FIGHTING WORKS)

Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of diesel engine driven fire pump suitable for automatic operation comparing of the following: – (a) Fire pump diesel engine driven horizontal and suction, centrifugal type confirming to IS: 12469:1988 with CI casing, bronze impellor and stainless steel (SS 304 grade) shaft mounted on heavy duty bearings suitable for continuous operation with range of operation 0% to 150% of rated discharge capacity for 415 volts, 3 Phase, 50Hz at outlet head min 70 meter for discharge of 1620 LMP. (b) Heat exchanger cooled (secondary cooling diesel engine @ speed 1500-1800 RPM suitable for above pump with automatic starting mechanism and other accessories including fuel tank (fabricated from 3mm MS sheet, painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer) of capacity adequate to sustain pump operation of 4 hours continuous working. The tank shall be fitted with magnetic oil level indicator. (c) Common base plate for (a) & (b) above of mild steel as recommended by OEM of pump. (d) Suitable cement concrete foundation duly plastered with anti-vibration pad complete as required.

Supplying, Installing, testing and commissioning of electrically driven high pressure centrifugal fire hydrant pump suitable for automatic operation comprising of the following: – (a) Horizontal end suction centrifugal pump, suitable for operation and 415 Volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz AC supply. The installation shall be complete with flexible coupling guard as required. Fire pump shall have CI casing, CS diffusers, bronze impellars (hard finished and dynamically balanced) and stainless sleet shaft with mechanical seal mounted on heavy duty bearings suitable for continuous operation with range of operation 0% to 150% of rated capacity for delivery of 1620 LPM at outlet head minimum 70m and confirming to IS-12469 1988 pump shall be capable of furnishing not less than 150% of rated capacity at head not less than 65% of rated head. (b) Squirrel cage induction motor TEFC type suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase,50 Hz, AC supply for pump with synchronous speed of 1450 RPM, confirming to IP55 protection & class ‘F’ insulation. (c) Common base plate for (a) and (b) above of mild steel as recommended by OEM of pump. (d) Suitable cement concrete foundation duly plastered with anti-vibration pad complete as required. (e) PVC insulated copper cable single core (6 run upto 6.5m length) of suitable size as recommended by OEM of pump set alongwith required size PVC flexible conduit for protection from starter of LT panel to electric motor, copper lugs complete all as specified & directed

Supplying, Installing, testing and commissioning of Jockey pump comprising of the following: – (a) Horizontal and suction centrifugal pump confirming to 12469: 1988, suitable for operation on 440 volts, 3 phases, 50 Hz AC supply. The installation shall be complete with flexible coupling guard as required, pressure gauge suitable for delivery 180 LPM discharge at outlet head min 70m head. (b) Squirrel cage induction motor TEFC type suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz AC supply for pump with synchronous speed of 2900 RPM, confirming to IP 55 protection & suitable for automatic operations. (c) The pump should be confirming to IS-12469:1988 with CI casing, bronze impellar and stainless steel shaft mounted on heavy duty bearings suitable for automatic operation with runover loading power characteristics for frequent start stop operation. (d) The base plate for (a) & (b) should be of mild steel as recommended by OEM of pump. (e) Suitable cement concrete foundation duly plastered with anti vibration pad complete as required. (f) PVC insulated copper cable single core (6 run upto 6.5m length) of suitable size as recommended by OEM of pump set alongwith required size PVC flexible conduit for protection from starter of LT panel to electric motor, copper lugs complete all as specified.

Supply and fix Air cushioning tank (Air vessel) 250mm dia x 1000mm high with dished top, made of minimum 6mm thick MS pipe /plate complete with 20mm dia. Brass air valve (ball type), 20mm dia stop valve, pressure gauge with brass stop cock, nipple tees elbows and all accessories complete all as specified and as directed

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Pressure switch of approved make for Hydrant pump, jockey pump and Diesel Engine Driven pump including necessary wiring and cut off valve up to central panel & other material complete all as specified and directed.

Suppy, fixing, testing & commissioning of heavy class MS pipe, IS : 3589 of bore 250 mm dia (6.35 mm thick) marked with all necessary fittings like tees, elbows, flanges, reducers, gaskets, nuts and bolts etc. welded or screwed joints as required including fixing the pipe with necessary structural supports (for delivery/suction manifold relating to the pumps) including painting of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over two coats of red oxide primer completeall as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of following fire fighting panel suitable for 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wires, 50 Hz power distribution system. The panel shall be free standing floor mounting sheet metal enclosed dust and vermin proof conforming to IP-52, compartmentalized design, fabricated out of 14 SWG sheet steel, painting, earthing numbering, danger plate as per specifications and drawings , flush front with Aluminium busbars, separate earth bus bars to be provided throughout the length of the panel. The incoming and outgoing feeder breakers, fuses, indicating lamps etc shall be accommodated in a modular multitier arrangement. The painting shall done as per relevant IS codes/as specified in the specifications. Adequate size cable alley shall be provided all round the panel and in the back for each cable bending and termination. The panel shall be fabricated by CPRI/TAC/Fire authority approved vendor. The outgoing feeders inside the panel shall be connected through solid bus bars. Flexible cable links are not acceptable Bus bars shall be provided with heat shrinkable sleeves and shall be colour coded. The panels shall be suitable for cable entry from top. The minimum fault rupturing of all incoming and outgoing switches/breakers shall be 35 KA. The panels shall be fabricated after the approval of fabrication drawings

Main Fire Pump Panel: Incoming Section: (i) One (1) No. 250A TPN MCCB (35 KA) (ii) 500 Amps Aluminium bus bar shall be insulated with heat shrinkable sleeves and shall be color coded. (iii) Three (3) Nos. current transformer (400/5A) (iv) One (1) No. ammeter (0-500) Amps with selector switch (v) One (1) No. (0-500 V) voltmeter with selector switch. (vi) 1 Set (3 Nos) of phase indication lamps with HRC fuses. (vii) Indication for control supply 'healthy' Outgoing: (i) 1 Nos. 200 A TPN MCCB 35 KA. 1 NOS (ii) 2 Nos. 63 A TPN MCCB 25 KA (iii) One(1) No. FASD Starters complete with . Note: (i) Separate neutral link to be provided wherever TP MCCB are used. (ii) Following provisions to be made in the fire panel: (a) Audio visual alarm & indications having disconnect/reset facility with a range of 1/2 km. Annunciator to be provided in the Fire panel with hooter and acknowledge, test and reset PBs. The indication shall come on when electrical driven pump set fails to start on pressure drop or when there is power failure during pressure drop. (b) Facility for mode selection ie auto or manual test & local/remote. (c) Protection failure & control cabling (d) Panel shall be interlocked in such a way when fire pump starts on pressure drop in the header, supply to working chiller A/c panel is disconnected. (e) Remote indication of ON/OFF/ TRIP shall be provided through potential free contact (f) Provision of remote starting/ stopping (manual) of the engine shall be made.

Supply and fix fire hydrant cabinet made of 16 gauge MS sheet double compartment type with 4mm thick glasses. The cabinate shall be firmly fixed to the wall with expansion bolt. The cabinate shall be powder coated both internally and externally also provide marking on both the compartment for identifying the hose reel and landing valve. The door shall be provided with suitable locking arrangement as per standards. The quoted rate shall deemed inclusive of rate for fixing box on wall and making good to the disturbed surafce of wall. The size of cabinate shaould be sufficient to accomodate the following accessories/items: a) 63mm dia instantaneous pattern single headed oblique hydrant valve with gun metal cap GI chain twist release type plug. b) 2 Nos, lengths of 30m, 63mm dia reinforced rubber lined hose with instantaneous male and female coupling. c) 1 No gun metal branch pipe with nozzle (63mm x 20mm) with gunmetal gate/ball valve (20mm)

Supply and fix 63 mm dia 15 mtr long hose conforming to IS 636 complete with male and female coupling conforming to IS 903 completeall as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Gun metal fire brigade inlet connection 2 way to external fire hydtrant main consisiting of two nos 63mm dia instantaneous type male coupling with built in valves and 150mm dia, flanged outlet complete with all acessories complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fix fire alarm sounders /sirens electronic type horizontal single stage continious normal operation for at least 50 minutes with sound level 65 DB to 120 DB measured at 1.5 meter with sound output variation + 5 DB for 3500 meter range complete all as specified and directed

Supply and laying pipe ductile iron 100 MM dia spigot ends including special class "K-7" centrifugally cast confirming to IS-8329 specification with mettalic zinc spray with Bituminious coating outside and cement mortar lining, in any length laid in trenches with and including necessay rubber gasket confirming to IS : 15382/ tyton joint complete all as specified and directed

Cutting existing Ductile iron pipe of 100mm bore of any description for insertion of TEE 100x100x100mm size and setting the pipe in proper alignment complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cast iron sluice valves ISI marked with hand wheel suitable for cast iron pipe Ductile iron of 100 mm bore, both ends flanged rating PN-1.0 with SS spindle including jointing with New MS nuts and bolts, washers and gasket etc all as per IS No. 14846 complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of road / PCC path upto the depth of pipes and making good the disturbed surface with PCC 1:2:4 (40mm aggregate) using extra cement including earth work complete all as specified and directed . .

Boring of holes under Road/Hard Standing for passing of water pipe line upto 200 mm bore complete all as specified and directed .

Material and Labour for constructing of brick mesonary pits of internal dimensions 0.6 mtr x 0.6 mtr x .6 mtrs ( bottom PCC floor of the pit should be minimum 30 cms below the bottom surface of sluice valve flange to provide sufficient working space) , bottom floor of the pit be constructed in PCC (1:3:6) 15 cms thick with 20 mm stone aggregate, inner and exposed surfaces and bottom floor of the pit should be plastered in CM (1:4) 15 MM thick. complete in all respect as directed

Material and Labour for constructing of brick mesonary pits of internal dimensions 0.9 mtr x 0.9 mtr x .9 mtrs ( bottom PCC floor of the pit should be minimum 30 cms below the bottom surface of sluice valve flange to provide sufficient working space) , bottom floor of the pit be constructed in PCC (1:3:6) 15 cms thick with 20 mm stone aggregate, inner and exposed surfaces and bottom floor of the pit should be plastered in CM (1:4) 15 MM thick. The sluice valve and other fittings should be housed in center of the pit. the vertices of the pit should in right angle and champhered .The top cover of the pit will be made out of MS sheet min 5mm thick witth angle iron frame made out of MS angle 50mm x50 mmx 6 mm with galvanised steel hindges two nos ,and locking arrangements duly painted with two coats of water resistant synthetic enamelled paint over one coat of red oxide complete in all respect as directed

Providing and fixing MS/CI fitting such as bend (any type , radius and angle ) taper any type (straight , bend , increasing, decreasing or double socket etc ) tee pieces , single branch 'Y' junction , double branch, cross, colar, caps and plugs suitable for upto 300 mm bore of fange ends pipes complete all as specified and directed
