SCHEDULE A (PART-II) (LABOUR ONLY FOR FIXING( OVERHEAD LINES & UNDERGROUND CABLES

Labour only in replacement of old unserviceable Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white,brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle,two galvanised iron washers andone galvanised iron nut, 50mm height, 150mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda yard in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Item measured after depositing the old unserviceable retrived material in AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda yard and tallying the quantity both new and old unserviceable materials retrived. Note :- (i) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda yard in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Item measured after depositing the old unserviceable retrived material in AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda yard and tallying the quantity both new and old unserviceable materials retrived. Labour for fixing only Air break gang orerated switches for outdoor uses vertical/horizontal mounted including 12 insulators and oeprating mechanism for repair/replacement of broken /worn out components and insultors etc for current rating upto 200 Amps 11000 Volts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note :- (i) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda yard in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Item measured after depositing the old unserviceable retrived material in AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda yard and tallying the quantity both new and old unserviceable materials retrived. Labour only for laying or fixing, jointing and testing in repair/replacement of u/s HT under ground electric power cable, XLPE insulated, screened , PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, (conforming to ISI-7098), ISI Marked, with aluminium conductor multi stranded, heavy duty, 11000 Volts grade (earthed), laid in trenches/laid under floor, roads, paths or fixed on walls /on poles/in ducts etc.complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge of the following sizes as described under seial item nos.10.01,10.02,10.03 & 10.04 of Schedule 'A' BoQ :- Note :- (i) Excavation , returning filling and removal shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate items of Schedule 'A' of BoQ.(ii) Sand cushioning and cable cover and GI pipe shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate items of Schedule 'A' BoQ as material and labour. (ii) Taking out of the old unserviceable cable , old unservicable bricks or cable covers , GI Pipe are included in the quoted rates and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iii) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda yard in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iv) Item measured after depositing the old unserviceable retrived material in AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda yard and tallying the quantity both new and old unserviceable materials retrived. (v) XLPE insulated, screened , PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, (conforming to ISI-7098), ISI Marked, with aluminium conductor multi stranded, heavy duty, 11000 Volts grade (earthed) of respective cross-sectional area as described under serial item nos. 10.01,10.02,10.03 & 10.04 shall be issued under Schedule 'B' free for fixing .

Labour only in replacenment of PVC cable of cross sectional area 95.00 sqmm 1.00 core 1100 V unarmoured for repairing of jumpers of 2/4 poles structures with necessary connections and suitable size of thimbling/ferrules as required on site complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The rates are includes for dismantling of old PVC cable and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda yard in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iii) Item measured after depositing the old unserviceable retrived material in AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda yard and tallying the quantity both new and old unserviceable materials retrived. (iv) PVC cable of cross sectional area 95.00 sqmm 1.00 core 1100 V unarmoured shall be issued under Schedule 'B' free for fixing .

SCHEDULE A (PART-III)

Detecting the fault in 11 KV underground cable of any size with the help of cable fault detector . The BOO shall be ordered by GE for detecting the fault at site and work shall be carried out accordingly .During execution of work photograph evidence along with location mark shall be kept on record and payment shall be made to contractor accordingly after satisfactory completition of item and after signing the BOO along with Engineer-in-charge and duly counter signed by GE. Copy of BOO shall be enclosed with RAR/ Final Bill before allowing the payment to contractor and necessary record shall be kept in the custoday of Engineer-in-charge.

Taking up or down defective / faulty HT underground cable 11 KV of any size , Cable end termination joints/straight through joints of any size , from the existing trench / duct / pole etc. and Re-laying the same in the trenches / duct / pole etc. after rectification of defects , including meggering of cable, provn of cable lugs, glands, thimble, insulation tape and connecting up with existing control gears, panels etc. as per site requirement, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes:- (a) Excavation and returning filling shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate items of Schedule 'A' BoQ. (b) HT underground cable 11 KV of any size ,Cable end termination joints/straight through joints required for the same shall be issued under Schedule'B' free for fixing .The Labour element for T taking out and relaying underground cable 11 KV of any size ,Cable end termination joints/straight through joints included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account . (c)The rate of meggering of cable, provn of cable lugs, glands, thimble, insulation tape and connecting up with existing control gears, panels etc. as per site requirementis as supply and fix is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (d) The rate of tools and plant required for the same item is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, cable , water supply pipe line etc. not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and exceeding 1.5 mtr and not exceeding 3.0 mtr in depth ; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, cable, water supply pipe line etc. not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and exceeding 1.5 mtr and not exceeding 3.0 mtr in depth in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Returning filling in, approved soft/loose soil, including spreading , levelling, watering and well ramming in layers, each layer not exceeding 25cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Removing excavated material(soil) n exc 50m and depositing where directedc at a level n exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point in soft/loose soil. complete all as specified and directed by Engr- in- charge.

Surface cleaning /site clearance not exceeding 15 cm in depth in Sub stations area, trenches, sub station rooms, two pole /four pole structure surroundings to make a overall presentable condition all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Work for this item shall be carried out through BOO as ordered by Garrision Engineer.Necessary measurement shall be ascertained by BOO and payment shall be made accordingly . The copy of BOO duly countersigned by GE shall be enclosed with RAR/ Final bill .

Material and Labour in replacement Loop type insulator, vitreous porcelain, white, brown or green: Large size, with overall dimensions 90mm x140mm,clearance of hole 25.5mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Item measured after depositing the old unservicable material in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda and tallying the quantity both new and old materials retrived. (iii) Quoted rates included the dismantling of old unservicable materials.

Material and Labour in replacement Stay assembly (20mm dia rod) complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No. 1 (loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation and concrete work shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule 'A' BoQ) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Item measured after depositing the old unservicable material in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda and tallying the quantity both new and old materials retrived. (iii) Quoted rates included the dismantling of old unservicable materials.

Supply and laying 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate layed / topping up on ground of substation / two pole / four pole structure after cleaning of vegitation and bushes and filtering /cleaning of existing aggregate complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note: (i) The payment shall be made to the contractor only for new 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate. The documentry proof of new 40mm crushed stone aggregate for payment shall be submitted by the contractor to Engineer-in-charge . The Engineer-in-charge shall made the stack measurement of new 40mm crushed stone aggregates in Measurement Book in the presence of Board of officers as ordered by GE. (ii) The rate of cleaning of vegitation and bushes and filtering /cleaning of existing aggregates is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.(iii) while considering the measurment for payment old filtered / cleaning existing aggregate shall not be measured but the rate of cleaning of vegitation and bushes and filtering /cleaning of existing aggregate is included in this item.

Material and Labour sand cushioning, with dry and clean fine river sand for underground cable 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying and punned to 18 cm after laying of cable complete all as specified. (Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose)

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP,type 1 with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing in replacment of unservicable tubing 'light grade' galvanised iron with all fittings including fixing on poles, walls etc. with flat iron clamps/bolts/nuts/washers or laid in floors/under roads complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge of the following bores as described under serial item nos.25.01,25.02 & 25.03 :- Note :- Old unservicable material retrieved shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda by the contractor his own arrangements.Nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Supply , fixing and stretching in replacement ACSR of any size as per site requirement on existing HT poles including binding on existing insulator with aluminium binding wire 2.00mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- 1. For measurement and payment purpose only the weight of ACSR shall be considered. The weight of aluminium binding wire 2.00mm shall not be considered for measurment and payment but the rate quoted by contractor for 2.00mm aluminium binding wire is included in this item . 2. New insulators if required shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of Scheule 'A' BOQ . 3. Old material retrieved shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda by the contractor his own arrangements and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. 4.Make of ACSR conductor shall be approved by GE.

Material & Labour for Cradles, hexagonal / rectangular,fabricated with galvanised steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of old unserviceable Prestressed concrete pole, 11.0 metres long. 152mm x 152mm at top and 152mm x 260mm at bottom, class 9 all as specified including painting making 06 Nos. bands / straps with white and black colour (30 cm wide each) synthetic enamel paint at a distance 30 cm from plinth block and numbering of poles with black bitumenous synthetic enamel paint in 2.5 cm height including tarring one coat on steel surface embedded in concerete foundation complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Old material retrieved shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda by the contractor his own arrangements and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Necessary earthwork and cement concrete work shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate items of Schedule 'A' BoQ.

Supply and fixing in replacement of old unserviceable steel tubular swaged poles type 410 SP-55, 11.00 meter long, complete with cast iron base plate, final taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified including painting with two coats of aluminium paint heat resistant type over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and making 06 Nos. bands/straps with white and black colour (30 cm wide each) synthetic enamel paint at a distance 30 cm from plinth block and numbering of poles with black bitumenous synthetic enamel paint in 2.5 cm height including tarring one coat on steel surface embedded in concerete foundation complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Old material retrieved shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda by the contractor his own arrangements and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Necessary earthwork and cement concrete work shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate items of Schedule 'A' BoQ.

Material & Labour for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot,drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminum paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Old material retrieved shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda by the contractor his own arrangements and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.(ii) payment shall be made only for the actual weight of structural steel sections, nuts and bolts. (iii) The rate of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminum paint is included in this item but while weighing the weight of structural steel sections, nuts and bolts the weight of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminum paint shall not be considered.

Supply & Fixing in replacement HT feeder pillar box factory made cubical type, dust proof, out door type, both side opening of size 110cm x 100cm x 60 cm of MS sheet 3.15 mm thick, power coated, machine pressed front opening in two halves with rubber gasket / beading , locking arrangement with sliding bolt including aluminium bus bar of size 50mm x 10 mm and 80 cm long 3 strips mounted on HT insulators each strip shall be mounted minimum two insulator and nut bolt panel shall be mounted on angle iron frame and legs made from angle iron of size 50mm x 50mm x 6 mm and legs 200 cm long duly spray painted internally and externally with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromen primer including marking of incoming and outgoing at cable with white paint , with an dincluding grouted in PCC (1:2:4) type ‘B1’ ( using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) complete incoming / outgoing cable provision. Note :- (i) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Item measured after depositing the old unservicable material in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda and tallying the quantity both new and old materials retrived. (iii) Quoted rates included the dismantling of old unservicable materials.

Material & Labour for replacement of damaged earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation fer loop earthing etc.as required 25mm x 4mm galvanised iron strip complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Item measured after depositing the old unservicable material in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda and tallying the quantity both new and old materials retrived. (iii) Quoted rates included the dismantling of old unservicable materials.

Material and Labour for in replacment Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cm x 6.00mm thick buried direcly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meters below normal ground level with the top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level connected to and including galvanized iron strip 32mm x 6 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part - I and earth lead protected by galvanized pipe light grade 40 mm bore (ISI marked) up to 7.5 mtrs from earth electrode , including, earthing plate shall be surrounded by alternative layers 15cm thick of charcoal and common all around bottom and top , necessary earth work and excavation in soft/loose soil , form work, GI medium grade 20mm bore watering pipe (ISI Marked) with funnel and wire mesh, 40mm thick chamber made with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 ,cover slab made with RCC 1:2:4 type B1 Design mix ,edges covered with and including 40mm x 40mm x 6 mm angle iron frame duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer with and including 8mm dia TMT bars at 75mm c/c both ways with MS Hook of 12mm dia MS bars, etc , all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-charge. Note(A) :- (i) Earth continuity of galvanized iron strip 32mm x 6 mm including protection pipe up to 7.5 mtrs from earth electrode will be included in unit rate, complete all as specified and directed. (ii) The rate of earth work in soft/loose soil i.e. excavation, returing filling and removal, form work is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iii) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (iv) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note(B) :- (i) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Item measured after depositing the old unservicable material in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda and tallying the quantity both new and old materials retrived. (iii) Quoted rates included the dismantling of old unservicable materials.

Material and Labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground to depth of pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick packed layer of charcoal / coal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel including GI protection pipe 15mm dia light grade upto the extent of 7.5 metre and connecting to earthing test point, main switch board including GI pipe 20 mm dia light grade for watering, MS funnel and bringing out the watering pipe upto 30 cm above the normal ground level plugged at top including all fitting including PCC earth pit with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and RCC pit cover including necessary earthwork and excavation in any type of soil complete all as specified as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and testing on completion. Note(A) :- (i) Earth continuity of GI wire 4 mm including protection pipe up to 7.5 mtrs from earth electrode will be included in unit rate, complete all as specified and directed. (ii) The rate of earth work in soft/loose soil i.e. excavation, returing filling and removal, form work is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iii) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (iv) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.Note(B) :- (i) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda in his own arrangements by the contractor and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) Item measured after depositing the old unservicable material in the store yard of AGE E/M GE (U) Bathinda and tallying the quantity both new and old materials retrived. (iii) Quoted rates included the dismantling of old unservicable materials.

Material and Labour for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of poles etc, filling and mass concrete including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete for repair of existing structure of transformers / panels / poles etc. including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in coping / plinth blocks for poles and the like including weathering , slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary form work and finishing the surfaces fair in forms complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour in replacement Danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letter, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT,25 cm x 20cm size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-charge. Materil & Labour for preparation of old painted fencing any type (channel / angle iron / barbed wire etc.) of 11 KV sub stations, including scrubbing, cleaning and painting with one coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement , cable route marker for HT cable duly engraved (HT 11 KV cable) on 100 mm dia MS round plate 3 mm thick, duly painted with yellow luminious reflective colour paint, and fixed on MS angle of size 40mm x40mm x 5mm , length 600mm and embedded in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregates concrete block of size 230mm x 230mm x 150mm, complete with excavation work etc. reqd to complete the job complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
