M&L for 150mm thick (spread thickness) soiling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone of gauge 40mm to 80mm deposited spread levelled in one layer interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consoildated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specifed and as directed.

M&L 150 mm thick (two layers of 75mm thick each) compacted thickness water bound macadam with coarse aggregate using sand stone of grading (63 to 40mm size) aggregate grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) aggregate of granite/basalt watered and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power rollerand consoildated to gradient and required camber granite,trap or basalt complete all as specified. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags and air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc.and applying a tack coat of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm for premix bituminous carpet all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying Premix Bituminous macadam of consolidated thickness n. exc. 50mm, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 @ and binder content of 4% by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic paver finisher (Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using B.M.) and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 504 MoRTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and as directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 4% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CI. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BM shall be worked out from Thapar Insti. of Engg & Tech Patiala/NIT Kurukhshetra /PEC Chandigarh/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ 42/kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. The BM shall be covered with top layer/wearing course within in a maximum of 48 hours. If there is to be any delay, by the contractor the course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of Clause 512 of MORTH (5th Rev) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately. 3. Only packed paving bitumen VG-30 shall be used and same shall also be verified by GE on ground before start of execution of work.

Providing and laying Premix Bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of agrgregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hyrdostatic paver finisher and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and as directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quotes the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate.

Repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfacesin roads, path etc cutting edges at least 25 mm depth and making good by applying tack coat with bitumen @ 5 Kg/X Sqm, putting in premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 well rammed and sealed with binder @ 9.80 kg mixed with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3 mm size per 10 Sqm and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipings, depth of pot holes exe 30mm thick, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Pot holes shall be marked by Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of work and same shall be entered in the MB after making good and before laying of bituminous premix carpet.

Marking strips, straight line, Zebra crossing and stop line not less than 2.00mm thick with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of make Shivalik (Prismo) (white or yellow) by using automatic mechanical road painting machine complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for factory made rubber moulded pre-cast cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded aggregate) in CM 1:4 in Kerb stone use with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings,throat- ing etc. and setting in mortar complete with joints to match including embedding in the ground to depths indicated and tamping ground around and also for removing any surplus spoil to a distance n. exc. 50 mtrs complete all as specified and as directed.

ABS Road colour cat eyes having dual direction (both sides) of size 100mm x 100mm x 18-20mm having body ABS fitted with epoxy, adhesive as per manufactures pin 12 cm long for fixing on road complete with PMMA lens with load capacity greater than 50 kg with visibility 800 mtr etc complete. Make of road cat eye as approved by GE.

S&F road cat eye 90X110x17mm meeting with ASTM and MoR&TH standards with yellow reflector yellow body colour and two side lens all as specified. The studs shall be fixed to the road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per manufacturers recommendation complete all as specified and as directed.

M/L preparing existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to cleaned surface with gunny bags and air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc from black top surface , Applying evenly a premix /tack coat with bitumen grade VG-10 @ 5.0 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed. Note : This item shall be used only where BM is in patches and to be covered by top layer after 48 hours.

Marking strips, straight line, Zebra crossing and stop line not less than 2.5mm thick with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of make Shivalik (Prismo) (white or yellow) by using automatic mechanical road painting machine and glass beads @ 250 gm/Sqm confirming to CI No. 803.4 of MoRTH in strips on road surfaces complete all as directed.

Dismantling of brick edging etc of any description complete all as directed.

M&L for 300 mm bore reinforced concrete pipe, class NP-3, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 450 mm bore reinforced concrete pipe, class NP-3, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Brick work using sub class 'B' brick straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 mtr mean radius built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material soils n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:5:10 type E2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone agg) as in foundation including footing, raft footing, plinth beams, base of column complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone agg) as in columns complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for form work to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft beams, side & soffits of foundation and plinth beams and similar work vertical or to batter rough finished surfaces of concrete flat complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for form work to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions fair finished surfaces of concrete square, rectangular or polygonal complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone agg) in coping kneelers, apex water trough and the like including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 20mm thick granite work (table rubbed and polished) in pillars, and like over rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of concrete surface including grouting in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of new surfaces of wall including brooming down or steel wire brushing and applying two coat of cement base paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for MS plain sheet 3mm thick in steel gate, cut to size, holes punche, including round head screws clout nails or rivetes and fixe to wood or steel framing with plain 40mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles etc as required complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for framed work for ornamental and intricate design such as grills, grating etc with ends of bar shouldered and or riveted or forged into spikes framed guard bars barred iron doors ladders framed balusters walk ways railings framed water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe-410-0 or Fe-310-0 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc.25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Mild Steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (anealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 36 above but 6 to 10 mm dia as in stirrups complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving n.exc 15 cm thickness below or above ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement plastering 15 mm thick in two layers (10mm and 5mm respectively) in cement mortar 1:4 including mixing of liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions on brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note : WPC will be measured and paid seperately.

Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint complete all as specified and as directed.
