(d) Server: The redundant server must be of high industrial quality, designed for continuous, reliable operation. It should be capable of handling all key SCADA functions, including data acquisition and storage. The minimum server specifications include: 1. CPU: Quad Core, 3.90 GHz 2. Cache: 10 MB 3. RAM: 16 GB 4. Storage: 4 x 1 TB SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) hard drives

(e) Data Gateway (f) SCADA software which can be operated, programmed and modified by agencies other than developer. The SCADA software should have a modular structure, supporting client/server functionality and scalable from small to large applications. SCADA computers must have firewalls, ensuring cybersecurity for RTUs and microprocessor-based controllers. (g) PLC/ Microprocessor Controllers with indoor/ outdoor applications for water sensing display, pump operation with RTU/ without RTU or Microprocessor controller and microprocessor transmitter (h) Suitable communication system including payment of bills to telecom service provider.

Cloud based server/ data storage/ communication shall not be used and only local server based system shall be designed. (iii) Operating system, system software and programming shall not be intellectual property of any agency. (iv) The memory in the hard disk shall be suitable for six months data. The backup storage device/ devices shall be provided for archiving of data more than six months old. (v) In case of addition of installations, the system shall be capable of integrating the same. (vi) The responsibility of the agency is restricted to intimate mechanical and electrical failures such as failure of pumps, leakages etc. Such repairs shall be carried out by MES (vii) Operation and maintenance charges to be paid separately. (viii) The SCADA system should have provision of both manual and automatic operation of installations.

Operate SCADA system during defect liability period for two years without manning (Contractor to provide month wise breakdown details of the same). (No manning or deployment of manpower required).
