M&L for prestressed concrete pole 11 metre long, 152mm x 152mm at top and 152 mm x 260mm at bottom class 9 complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down/ out HT cable off sizes from trench & pole including disconnecting all electrical connections and depositing serviceable cable in MES store yard for Re-use at other site in entire cantt area and removing unserviceable cable from site to take credit. complete all as specified and directed. Note: The excavation and related civil wk will be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.50 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.50 mtr in depth for laying of cables and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type I, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm laid flat in trenches over the cable with the length of brick perpendicular to the direction of cable length, adjacent/abutting each other complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Relaying of existing retrieved bricks/PCC cover within 500mtr laid in trenches for cable protection perpendicular to the direction of cable length, adjacent abutting each other complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for PCC work (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation of electric pole, etc. including use and waste of necessary form work and fare finish to exposed surfaces without using extra cement etc. complete all as specified.

M & L for boring hole under the road / pavement / hard standing of any width with the help of trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine and including HDPE pipe 150 mm of size not less than one metre below ground level complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing galvanised pipe light grade of ISI marked 150 mm bore for passing of cable fixed to poles/walls/laid under floor complete with and including fittings as required compete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for HT jumper made of XLPE insulated aluminium conductor of size 150 Sqmm, length 4 metre long with crimped thimbles at both ends complete fixing on 2 pole/ 4 pole structure as reqd at site.complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting and cleaning of grass by using manually/cutter machine all around Elect Instln and suitable chemical spraying near Package Sub Stations , Ring main Units and 4 pole /2 pole structure area complete all as specified & directed by Engineer in charge .

M & L for Locating & pinpointing conductor and insulation faults of low and high resistance, intermittent or flashing nature in XLPE HT underground power cables of the rating 11 KV with the help of Pre-locator with time domain laptop based reflectometer/ electrometer using pulse echo method, impulse current method & decay method, and using DC high voltage surge generator to produce surge to trace route and pinpointing fault with the help of dual channel digital sound system, magnetic & acoustic for location of fault with acoustic transducer (pickup) and the amplifier with headphones, after pinpointing of faut location necessary excavation and taking out of faulty cable for repair/ replacement of joint, relaying of cable/ cover & brick protection, refilling of soil and removal of surplus soil etc at Jalandhar cantt all as specified and directed. Note: The joint shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. The qty of item will be executed at different times during currency of contract as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Hence, contractor shall quote his rate accordingly for arranging and executing the items accordingly.NOTE: Fault should be detected and rectified within 24 hrs from intimation to contractor after that penalty should be made to contractor at the rate of Rs 500 per hour.

Material and labour for fixing cable route indicators made of PCC (1:3:6) duly engraved “HT CABLE / HT JOINT” coloured with two coats of synthetic paint in brown of size 150 x 150 x 900 mm fixed 300mm below ground level all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of 2 pole structure and painting with one coat of aluminium paint to all steel poles, structure such as channel/brackets, bracing, clamps, anti climbing device, cross arms and further painting 30 cm high alternate yellow & black strips with synthetic enamelled paint upto 1.5 mtr height complete all as specified and directed.

M&L removing of heavy tree branches near transformer, Compact sub station, sub stn building or near 4 pole structure or LT/HT line with help of crane all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for shifting of VCB installed in indoor sub stations of cantt area after taking proper shut down and disconnecting existing HT connections/ feeders and shifting with help of crane and reqd manpower carefully and depositing to MES Yard complete all as specified and directed.

Servicing of ring main unit (RMU) 3/5 way 11 KV by taking shut down and disconnecting electrical connections, removing of dust with blower, cleaning of all movable/fixed parts, removing moisture/ hard carbon deposited due to flash over on bus bars and insulators with CRC/ Stanvac moisture/ carbon remover, checking all components, insulators/ studs, adjusting the male / female bushings in proper spacing, lubrication of moving parts, greasing all parts, tightening nuts and bolts, adjustment of breajer mechanism/ load break switch , earth switch to ensure slip free operation, testing of CT & PT with injection kit and reconnecting of all electrical connections, testing of RMU for healthiness and proper functioning and submitting report complete all as directed. Note: (a) Contractor shall submit complete report regarding CT & PT, Protection relay functioning pick up current & corresponding time value setting tests carried with injection testing kit, Relay testing kit. Any major Spare replaced shall be measured and paid seperately.(b) The service shall be carried out by OEM/ Auth Channel partner/Auth service centre or reputed RMU or VCB manufacturing firm after approval from Engr-in-charge.

Servicing of vaccum circuit breaker 11 KV of capacity 1250 /800/630 Amps by taking shut down and disconnecting electrical connections, removing of dust with blower, cleaning of all movable/ in-movable parts with chemical/ CRC, checking all components, close/ trip coil operation, insulators/ studs with megger and replacing unserviceable parts, adjusting the male / female bushings in proper spacing, greasing all parts, tightening nuts and bolts, reconnecting all electrical connections, testing, commissioning of VCB complete all as directed. Note: The entire servicing inspection shall be carried out by OEM/ Auth Channel partner/ Auth service centre/ RMU or VCB manufacturing company after approval from Engr-in-Charge. The Spares replaced shall be measured and paid seperately.The following tasks shall be carried out within overall quoted rate and contractor shall submit written test report for testing complete:- (a) Details of servicing of breaker :- (i) Adjustment of mechanism if required. (ii) Clean the circuit breaker to remove dust and dirt. The envelope of the vacuum interrupter and insulating materials shall be wiped with a clean cloth. (iii) Apply a small amount of oil to rotary sections, sliding surfaces, pins, coupling section, etc.use grease for the operating shaft and bearings, and machine oil for other parts. (iv) Check for rust and wear.(v) Check Spring Tension and pitting of the Cluster Contacts. (vi) Visual check for rust and deformation.(vii) Check for loosened bolts and nuts, broken spring washers and snap pins etc.(viii) Check for loosened connections, rust, damaged lead wires. (ix) Check whether the contacts are damaged by arcing.(x) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any.(xi) Check close & trip coil.(xii) Checking of Jaw Contacts Conditions and repair/adjust. (xiii) Replace the jaw contacts,If required.(xiv) Improvement of resistance of epoxy insulator and epoxy body by applying post heated varnish.(xv) Replacement of Dashpot/shock absorbers . (xvi) Replacement of carbon brush of spring charging motor (b) The following test shall be carried out:- (i) Injection Test/ ratio test of CT / PT(ii) BLANK(iii) IR Test with megger in open and closed condition. (iv) Contact resistance test for all three poles(v) Closing coil resistance(vi) Tripping coil resistance.(c) Testing and calibration of following relays of control panel with Secondary Injection Kit ,checking and programming of relay :-(i) Over current and earth fault relay (d) Testing of followig Aux relay (i) DC Supply supervision relay.(ii) Master trip relay

M &L for in replacement of " MiCOM P111" or other equivalent make having 3 overcurrent & E/F relay (NC type) operating on 24 V to 220 V DC including testing all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning 3 Phase, 3 Limb, Dry type Resin cast Potential transformer suitable for compact sub station/ VCB/RMU with ratio 11KV/rt3/110V/rt3, burden 100 VA, class 0.5, of size as per existing complete with fixing arrangement and necessary connections all as specified and directed

Calibration and Testing of 11 KV protection (overload and earth fault) relays through current injection system including current setting and time setting as per site requirement at 11 KV Sub Stn at different location complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. The contractor shall submit report to deptt. The calibration shall be carried out by OEM/ AUth Channel partner/service centre / qualified technician after approval from Engr-in-charge

Supply & fix in replacement of strip heater 80 watt in existing RMUs/ VCBs including taking out unsv heaters complete all as specified.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Dry type Resin cast current transformer (CT) 11 kV having ratio 900-450/0.577A-1-5-5 A, burden 15 VA, class PS - 5P15- 0.5 - 10P10 and STC 21 KA for 3 sec of size and shape as per existing suitable for RMU/ VCBs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 24V, 100 Ah battery bank consisting of Maintenance free VRLA battery cell 2 volt, 100 Ah - 12 Nos complete with stand & trays of MS CRCA sheet painted with RAL 7040 grey colour, cell connectors made of lead coated heavy duty copper bus bar, inter module connector, inter cell connector horizontal and vertical having Ah efficiency more than 95% and WH efficiency more than 85 %, having suitable Float Charging and boost charging voltage matching to FCBC battery charger complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for fixing of RMU/ Switchgear panel doors made up of MS CRCA sheet powder coated (7 tank) having 2/ 3.15mm thickness , cut to size and pressed to shape required as per size of existing panels installed/ located at various locations/site including welding, fixing of hinges to sheet, provn of suitable locking arrangements & neoprene rubbe rgasket and fixing of sliding bolts (sliding bolts shall be measured under relevant item of Sch) and further fixing to panel/ Switchgear panel for fixing complete all as per directed by Engr in charge. Note : The contractor have to get measured size of LT panel doors on ground for suitable fitting of doors.

M&L for repair of RMU 11 KV 3/5 way any type & any make (Schneider, Siemens, Areva, Hartek or any other make) complete including removing/ disconnecting electric cable and earth connections from RMU, shifting the RMU through suitable transport to service centre workshop at Chandigarh/ Delhi or other loc and opening / step opening of RMU parts and diagnosing the fault complete including making necessary repairs, replacing complete defective AC & DC circuit control protection wiring, complete cleaning, servicing and replacing major defective parts and re-fixing, assembling and replacing parts for satisfactory functioning and shifting back to Jalandhar cantt and installation, commissioning and making electrical connections complete all as directed. M&L for Replacement of Hooter/Siren suitable for VCB & CR panel as per existing condition complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for tracing fault in HT VCB by deploying skilled Engineer having knowledge of 11 KV power/ control circuit with help of suitable T&P to rectify fault of indication circuit, control circuit, protection circuit within 4 hrs after intimation by JE incharge incl replacement of minor parts complete. Note: The penalty of Rs 4000 per Hr shall be levied in case of engineer not attends the fault within specified time.

Supply and fix butt hinges, heavyweight, cold rolled mild steel of size 125 mm and fixed properly on MS sheet of thickness 2 to 3.15 mm after dismantling old one from panel and fixing panel door on other side complete all as directed.

M&L for electrolytic copper busbar of size 100x10mm with hard insulation or any other cross section size reqd at site cutting to shape , drilled hole and fixed on supporting insulator or in VCB trolley or any other size reqd at site all as specified and directed.
