Attending minor transformer complaints / Preventive maint of Transformer by taking proper shutdown of HT feeder from concerned power house, checking, testing and locating faults of HT side / LT side of transformer of any make / any capacity kept on four / two pole structure / plinth etc. Opening / disconnecting HT electric connections, removal of old detoriated connection, tightening of connections, checking load etc. including routine maintenance such as checking minor leakage of transformer silica jel , breather, oil level including replacement of LT /HT side bushing by opening up to the top cover, draining out transformer oil from transformer in suitable containers (containers to be provided by the contractor, replacement of gasket etc. all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Transformer oil / silica jel / breather / Cork if replaced shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items of Schedule 'A' BoQ. (ii) The Supply only spare parts excluding minor parts shall be measured and paid for under relevant items of Schedule 'A' BoQ.. (iii) T & P and minor repair i.e. replacement of nut / bolts etc. shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.

Supply only New cork sheet gasket 6mm thick & 40mm width superior quality on top cover plate of the transformer capacity 25 KVA to 1000 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only New silica gel complete all as specified and directed .

Supply only Silica gel breather upto 100KVA complete all as specified and directed .

Supply only Silica gel breather above 100KVA and up to 500 KVA complete all as specified and directed .

Supply only Silica gel breather above 500KVA up to 1000 KVA complete all as specified and directed .

Disconnecting HT / LT connections of burnt / defective transformer of any capacity , taking down from site of installation, and then shifting the transformer to trade / contractor's workshop for repair, cleaning and making good surface and after repair transport back from factory to AGE E/M yard complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge Notes :- (i) The T & P / vehicles etc. shall be arrangd by the contrator for transportation without any extra cost. The cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) The cost of rewinding , painting , replacement of parts i.e. Gasket ., Tap changer, drain valve, Silica gel, transformer oil shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item of Schedule 'A' BoQ.

Taking down burnt HT / LT copper winding and rewinding the same with new copper LT / HT coils made out of proper size of DPC copper wire / strip super enameled of high quality matching with existing impedances and providing class 'E' insulation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) Weight of HT / LT copper winding shall be physically ascertained through a board of officers convened by GE and payment shall be made only after ascertaining the actual weight of HT / LT copper winding at site. (ii) The rate of material and labour for providing varnishing, sleeving and insulating materials is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iii) During considering the weighit of HT / LT copper winding , the weight of varnish, sleeve and insulating material shall not be considered for measurment and payment. Only the weight of the HT / LT copper winding shall be considered for measurement and the payment shall be made accourdingly. (iv)Copy of BOO duly counterd signed by ge shall be enclosed with final bill.

Supply only Tap Changer Switch of any capacity of transformer.

Material and Labour for Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of transformer of any capacity installed on pole mounted , indoor / out door plinth by using course cloth/wire brush and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel grey paint with the help of spray gun including writing the SM No/MES No. on transformer with white paint in the existing style/pattern complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down transformer up to 1000 KVA capacity from pole / site of installation of any description / any position and shifting to other site of installation distance up to 10.00 Kilometer including instal on 2/4 pole structure or on plinth and connecting with HT/LT side of existing system and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The T & P vehicles and minor parts/nut bolts etc. shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates.Nothing shall be paid extra on this account.Note: Distance shall be ascertained through BOO and copy of same shall be enclosed with final bill duly counter signed by GE.

Taking down transformer up to 1000 KVA capacity from pole/site of installation of any description / any position and shifting to other site of installation distance above 10.00 Kilometre and up to 20.00 Kilometer including fixing on 2/4 pole structure or on plinth and connecting with HT/LT side of existing system and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- The T & P vehicles and minor parts/nut bolts etc. shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supplying and filling new mineral grade transformer oil EHV type confirming to IS-3357 of 1983 for filling and for topping up in transformer duly filtered with filtration plant to obtain high dielectric strength not less than 60KV (Gap 2.5mm) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Empty barrel will be property of contractor and same will be returned to contractor when barrel will be empty.

Dehydration & Filteration of transformer oil with portable filtration cum dehydration machine to imporve the dielectric strengh not less 50 KV within 1 minute with 2.5 mm gap at site of any installation in cantt area and any capacity / make of transformer installed on pole mounted, indoor/out door plinth mounted. Testing of dielectric strength of dehydrated transformer oil of each transformer will be carried out in th e presence of Engineer-in- Charge complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Contractor shall ensure no wastage of transformer oil. (ii) Contractor shall ensure that the conservator tanks are full to its level before starting the dehydration.(iii) The back up electric supply as per site requirement shall be arranged by the contractor for dehyration of transformer and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates by contractor in this item

Surface cleaning / site clearance not exceeing 15 cm deep in Sub stations area, trenches,sub station rooms, two pole/ four pole structure surroundings to make a over all presentable condition all as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Material and labour for maintenance of 1000KVA transformer by taking proper shutdown of transformer, dismantling the HT, LT cable and earthing, setup the proper arrangement i.e T&P at site for opening up the top cover, draining out all transformer oil from transformer in suitable containers (containers to be provided by the contractor) taking out the core and winding from transformer body by using hoist and clean the tank, fins, core and winding etc. by heated transformer oil at such pressure that all the sludge comes out and clean the transformer after cleaning re-assembling the transformer by filling new transformer oil upto the limit and connect all the HT,LT, earthing connection and testing on running load as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Transformer oil shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item. (ii) The minor repair i.e. replaced the nut/bolts, gasket etc. shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (iii) The item quoted rate shall include the cost of new transformer oil use for washing the core and body.

Material and Labour in replacement Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cm x 6.00mm thick buried direcly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meters below normal ground level with the top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meters below ground level connected to and including galvanized iron strip 32mm x 6 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part - I and earth lead protected by galvanized pipe light grade 40 mm bore (ISI marked) up to 7.5 mtrs from earth electrode , including, earthing plate shall be surrounded by alternative layers 15cm thick of charcoal and common all around bottom and top , necessary earth work and excavation in soft/loose soil , form work, GI medium grade 20mm bore watering pipe (ISI Marked) with funnel and wire mesh, 40mm thick chamber made with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 ,cover slab made with RCC 1:2:4 type B1 Design mix ,edges covered with and including 40mm x 40mm x 6 mm angle iron frame duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer with and including 8mm dia TMT bars at 75mm c/c both ways with MS Hook of 12mm dia MS bars, etc , all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-charge. Note : (i) Earth continuity of galvanized iron strip 32mm x 6 mm including protection pipe up to 7.5 mtrs from earth electrode will be included in unit rate, complete all as specified and directed. (ii) The rate of earth work in soft/loose soil i.e. excavation, returing filling and removal, form work is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iii) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (iv) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair cable joint kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination stright through Heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium cable of size 70 to 95 sqmm complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Supply and fix in repair cable joint kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination stright through Heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium cable of size 120 to 185 sqmm complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Supply and fix in repair vitreous porcelain insulator on walls/ roofs in existing Aluminium /Cooper strip of any size complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Material and labour PVC sleeve of suitable size heat shrinkable type suitable for insulation of copper/GI strip of any size complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Material and labour for Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm, drilled and screwed including, 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal, head screw etc. complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
