M&L stone grit plaster on external walls in two layers, under layer consisting of 12mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement 4 coarse sand) furrowing the under layer with scratching tool, applying cement slurry on the under layer @ 3 Kg of cement per Sqm, top layer consisting of 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:1/2:2 (1 cement : 1/2 coarse sand :2 stone chipping 10mm nominal size) in panels with grooves all around as per approved pattern including scrubbing and washing, the top layers with brushes and water to expose the stone chippings complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (a) Cost for providing grooves shall be deemed inclusive of quoted rate. (b) Cost of scafolding upto 3 storey hight of building shall deemed inclusive of quoted rate of this item.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 1:4:8 type D2, (using 40 mm graded stone aggragate) as in concrete bed to 150 mm bore drain pipe including packing under and hunching against the sides of pipes after pipe laid and tested complete all as specified and direcetd.

M&L RCC 1:3:6, type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) precast cement concrete cover slab for manhole and similar article with plain face, set in cement mortar 1:4 including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

S&F deformed or twisted TMT bars 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape as required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of brick work built in cement mortar, seperation, cleaning and stacking of serviceable bricks for reuse and removal of debris, rubbish to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metres mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 including flyash bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metres pointing as the work proceeds (Except internal surfaces of manholes and other surfaces where plaster is to be done) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per ser item No 33 here-in-before but except bricks. Note:- Old serviceable dismantalled bricks obtained from ser item No. 32 shall be reused after cleaning of bricks.

M&L brick work with sub Class 'B' old size bricks, in 1/2 brick thick wall in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L providing cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm mm graded stone aggregate) as in copings to brick wall, manholes etc and all other similar works including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 inside and outside wall of manhole of brick work/ concrete surface as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and direcetd. Notes:- (i) WPC shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) WPC to be mixed @200ml per 50 Kg bag of cement or as per manufacturers instruction.

Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound.

M&L cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drain making good for 150mm/200mm/300mm bore of pipes & rendering cutting out existing benching and forming branch (1/2 round or ¾ section) channel in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate surface finished even and smooth and reforming benching in required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cleaning of existing sewage line exceeding 100 mm and not exceeding 450 mm internal dia at any depth including manholes by removing the manholes covers of any type/ size and cleaning by means of honey sucker followed by mechanical / vibration roding followed by hydraulic jet pressure machine etc as required at site and well flushing the manholes with water after cleaning including getting out sludge/ liquid materials if any in sewer line and removing the solids / sludge (obtained from cleaning) to a distance exceeding 50 m and re-fixing the manhole covers in its original position complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The Contractor shall issue hand Gloves to the Safaiwala before starting rodding/ sucking by means of mechanical sucker / bowser mounted tractor/ lorry etc. (ii) Cleaning of existing sewage pipe line / manholes by suitable honey sucker followed by mechanical roding followed by hydraulic jet pressure and depose effluent out side the defence land and. that shall be included in the quoted unit rate. (iii) The Labour employed by the contractor shall wear firm name uniform. (iv) The Manhole cover to be re-installed immediately after cleaning the line. (v) Pocket/zone wise manhole-to-manhole cleaning sketch to be prepared and kept in records before making payment to contractor.

M&L cleaning of blockage IWCs / EWC, bathroom / kitchen by cleaning the nahani traps / gully traps and CI / PVC pipe line upto the 1st Manhole. All the mud / sludge / Kitchen waste / plants roots to be cut/ removed and getting out by washing the traps, CI waste pipe throughly by opening the cleaning eyes lids properly. The sludge/ waste received during cleaning process to be removed at a distance not exceeding 100m from the building and Bleaching powder to be spread over waste and burried under the Soil / Earth. Earth work shall be included in the unit rate. Notes:- (i) The Sweeper/ Safaiwala to be employed by the contractor at least 02 Nos for each zone/sectors as decided/divided by the Engr-in-charge/concerned JE and shall alaways be in possession firm dress during working hours. (ii) The Sweeper/ Safaiwala shall be in possession of PVC/ Wooden Pump of appropriate size with long handle/ 5-6 mm dia MS plain rod. (iii) The Contractor shall deploy suitable Nos of Labours with one site supervisor and will report daily to AGE B/R -II (West) Complaint cell at 9:00 hours for collection of complaints and deposite the same before 17:30 hours to concerned JE (Civil) till contract period. (iv) A sum of Rs. 550/- per day will be deducted from Contractor's RAR / Final Bill, if Supervisor found absent from duty. (v) A sum of Rs. 200/- will also be deducted per complaint if not attended/ cleared within 48 hours after lodging of complaint in Register / Handed over to the Supervisor. (vi) Attendence/ complaint register to be maintained properly at Sub-Division and submitted weekly to GE (W) for review the same.

Cleaning and desludging / de-watering of septic tanks /Manholes and soakage well of any depth by using honey sucker followed by mechanical roding followed by hydraulic jet pressure machine etc as required, with the entire satisfaction of Engr -in- charge and re-fixing the manholes cover to its original position complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Cleaning of septic tank/ soakage wells/ manholes by suitable suction pump loaded vehicle / trailers/ Bowsers, lorry etc available in the market and dispose off the effluent/ waste out side the defence land that shall be including the quoted rates. (ii) The correct (volume) measurement of Bowsers/Trailer mounted on any kind of vehicle to be checked/ measured and noted in register before making the payments to contractor.
