Preparation of un-surfaced of Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) surfaces by sweeping, cleaning by power broomers or mechanical sweepers or by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc removing completely all loose materials and other foreign materials and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc and applying a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm for premix bituminous carpet using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified all as specified .

Providing and laying Premix Bituminous macadam of consolidated thickness 25mm to 50mm, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 @ and binder content of 4% by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic paver finisher (Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using B.M.) and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 504 MoRTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 4% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CI. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BM shall be worked out from Thapar Insti. of Engg & Tech Patiala/NIT Kurukhshetra /PEC Chandigarh/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ 45/kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. The BM shall be covered with top layer/wearing course within in a maximum of 48 hours. If ther is to be any delay, by the contractor the course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of Clause 512 of MORTH (5th Rev) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately.

Providing and laying Premix Bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of agrgregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hyrdostatic paver finisher and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quotes the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 3. After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate.

Material and labour for 2.5mm thick road marking thermo plastic reflective paint to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5 Kg /Sqm ) and glass beads @ 250 gm/Sqm confirming to CI No. 803.4 of MoRTH in strips of 100/150 mm width on road surfaces complete all as specified and directed

Supply & fixing road cat eye 90X110x17mm meeting with ASTM and MoR&TH standards with yellow reflector yellow body colour and two side lens all as specified. The studs shall be fixed to the road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per manufacturers recommendation complete all as specified
