Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ 50/ per kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side.
2. The BM shall be covered with top layer / wearing course within in a maximum of 48 hours. If there is to be any delay, by the contractor the course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of Clause 512 of MORTH (5th Rev) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately. 3. Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work

Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs 50/per kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side.
2. Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate.
3. After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 3. Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work

Supply, install, commissioning and testing road barrier (electrically operated) complete with following major components and making complete functional :-
(a) Drive Mechanism: Consisting of Maximum 1 / 4 HP electric reversible motor coupled through a timing belt (“V’ belt) to oil filled and sealed type composite gear drive unit internal unit with internal looking feather, friction clutch, circuit controller, hand crank arrangement for manual operation at the time of electric supply failure, control switch gear with contactors motor rating MCM, electronic surveillance circuit terminals etc, complete as required system should be such to work will in voltage range of 200 to 250 Volt, 50 Hz AC. (b) Aluminium Boom: To cover road width of 6 mtr fabricated the first section of Boom is fabricated from 3mm aluminium sheet and third section from 1.9mm, aluminum sheet die pressed to from tapering with riveted joint plates to from a tapering box section, special stiffening bends shall be provided in web of channel to increase the strength, size of boom section at the larger end should be minium 160mm x 160 mm. Total boom shall have 3 such section of 2.4 mtr length each which should be jointed by nuts and bolts for replacement of damage sections. Boom to be painted with alternative black & yellow strips and provided with reflective “STOP” sign in centre and four bands of reflective taps for night warning.

Continued serial item no. 69.00 of BoQ: (c) Counter Balance Channels and Blades : For the boom to the mechanism and for counter balancing the road barrier These should be of mild steel.
(d) Boom Stand : The spotting of tip of the boom in its forward portion. This should be of Mild Steel with suitable rubber pad.
(e) Push button control unit : For remote control of barrier, consisting of three push buttons.
(f) Cable requirement : (i) 4 core x 1.5 Sqmm, Plain annealed high conductivity multicore flexible copper conductor as per class 5 of IS 8130/2013 latest between push button unit & mechanism box.
(ii) 3 core x 1.5 Sqmm, Plain annealed high conductivity multicore flexible copper conductor as per class 5 of IS 8130/2013 latest power supply to barrier (with earthing from power point to mechanism).
