Material and labour for preparation of old decorated surfaces ( plastered / unplastered) of walls / pillars / cornices by removing / scraping down all loose particle, smoke soot, moulds, moss & efflorescent salts, oil & greasy spots etc. with using broom / steel patti / wire brush / sand papering or by any other mean, including applying white cement based wall care putty make as approved by GE where required for filling to depressions / nail holes / light cracks etc. and to make the surface even and smooth and also using sander machine (with provision of dust sucking) on uneven surface to make the surface even and smooth (before and after applying putty as per site situation) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, and after preparing the surface smooth applying one coat of oil bound distemper (washable) by using paint brush or roller brush, as per existing or as approved tint/colour complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any layers of existing treatment ) from walls / pillars / cornices by scraping down with using steel patti wire / brush / sand papering or mechanical sander machine (including provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, remove / scraping down all loose particle, smoke soot, moulds, moss & efflorescent salts etc. brooming all dust and preparing the surfaces smooth by applying white cement based wall care putty make as approved by GE, 3.00 mm thick (in two layers, 1.5mm thick each), after applying putty first and second coat sanding the surface as per requirement by using mechanical sander machine to make the surface even and smooth upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and after prepare the surface smooth applying two coats of oil bound distemper (washable) as per approved tint / colour by using paint brush or roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : - Each stage i.e after complete removal and before applying OBD as specified above, the surface shall be passed in writing by the Enigineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment (any layers of existing treatment ) from walls / pillars /cornices by scraping down with using steel patti and mechanical sander machine (including provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, brooming and washing down with water including applying white cement based wall care putty make as approved by GE where required for filling to depressions to make the surface even and smooth by using sander machine (with provision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, and after that applying two coats of cement base paint as per approved tint / colour with using paint brush / roller brush, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : - Complete removal /scraping to old existing treatment as directed by Engineer-in-charge, each stage i.e after complete removal and before applying Cement Base Paint as specified above, the surface shall be passed in writing by the Enigineer-in-charge in site order book.

Material and labour for coplete removal existing treatment (any layer of existing treatment) from wall (plastered / unplastered) of walls / pillars / cornices by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scraping down smoke soot, moulds, moss & efflorescent salts, oil & greasy spots etc including applying white cement based wall care putty make as approved by GE , 3.00mm thick (in two layers, 1.5mm thick each), after applying putty first and second coat sanding the surface as per requirement by using mechanical sander machine to make the surface even and smooth upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and after prepare the surface smooth vision of dust sucking) upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, after preparing the surfaces applying two coat of weather proof exterior emulsion paint (wheather coat Apex, 100% exterier grade), as per existing or as approved tint/colour complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for preparation of old painted (plastered / unplastered / concrete) surfaces of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described of walls / pillars / cornices by removing / scraping down all smoke soot, moulds, moss & efflorescent salts, oil & greasy spots etc. with using broom / steel patti / wire brush / sand papering or by any other mean as required, upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge after preparing the surfaces applying two coats of plastic emulsion paint, interior emulsion (finishing smooth and glossy upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge) as per approved tint / colour with using paint brush / roller brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted wooden surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth by cleaning the dust and removing all loose particle with using clean cloths and dry paint brush & applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (1st quality) of approved tint/colour to achieve glossing finish with using paint brush complete as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old polished wooden surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth by cleaning the dust and removing all loose particle with using sanded paper, clean cloths and dry paint brush & applying one coats of french polishing to achieve glossing finish upto entire satisfication of Engineer-in-charge including a coat of wood filler complete as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :-The rates for clear finishes include such preparation, cleaning, stopping and rubbing down after each coat, stopping as specified.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth by cleaning the dust and removing all loose particle with using sanded paper, clean cloths and dry paint brush & applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (1st quality) of approved tint/colour to achieve glossing finish with using paint brush complete as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete surfaces , including racking out joints , hacking for key, scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. .

Material and labour for 15mm thick rendering in 1:6 Cement Mortar on brick /concrete of wall surfaces including finishing the surfaces even and smooth(without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. .

Material and labour for for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distempering (internal surfaces) over a coat of 1.00 mm thick white cement based wall care putty make as approved by GE on plastered surfaces ,preparatory to distempering complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for 15mm thick rendering in 1:4 Cement Mortar on brick / concrete /stone masonry surfaces o walls including finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls / pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom / sand papering or by any other mean, washing down with water and applying two coats of cement base paint as per approved tint / colour with using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 10mm thick rendering in 1:3 cement mortar on concrete surfaces as in ceiling, chajjas including finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of ceiling,chajjas by sand papering or by any other means, preparing the surfaces smooth and after that applying two coats of white wash with using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing the plastered surfaces smooth and to make good depression by applying 2.00mm thick white cement based wall care putty in two layers ( Each layer shall be 1.00mm thick) make as approved by GE and sanding the surface by using mechanical sander machine(including provn of dust sucking) to make the surface even and smooth up to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge to receive surface finish of any type of treatment complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces ,road side kerb stone of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth & applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (1st quality) of approved tint / colour to achieve glossing finish with using paint brush complete as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for serial item no.1.00 to 21.00 of BoQ : The buildings shall be handed over to the contractor in stages as agreed between the contractor and the Engineer-in-Charge at any time during the currency of the contract. Soon after consumption of 50% of painting materials initially procured, the contractor shall bring remaining quantity of primer, paints & putty required for the work in sealed containers along with paid vouchers for verification by the JE/ Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in the custody of concerned JE. The contractor should complete the works within the minimum possible time without causing any inconvenience to the users / installations.
