Taking out from trenchs / from under roads existing old unservicable rusted / corroded GI pipe 100 mm bore and connections including all fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply ,laying and testing of DI pipes of 100mm bore spigot and socket ends centrifugally cast (spun) class " K-9" conforming to IS-8329 -2000 in any length with and including rubber gasket Tyton push on Joints laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (1) DI fittings and earth work shall be measured & paid for separately under appropriate items of schedule 'A' BoQ. (2) The rates of rubber gasket Tyton push on Joints is included in this item and nothing shall be extra paid for Tyton push on Joints.

Supply, installation and testing in replacement Cast Iron Sluice valve flanged of class PN 1.6, 100 mm dia ISI marked conforming to IS- 14846-2000 complete with stainless steel spindle flanged both ends drilled CI gate with brass ring and iron wheel handle suitable for CI/DI pipe line with and including jointing material such as nuts, bolts, washers and rubber sheet complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition or old valve pit ad Material and Labour for new Construction of brick masonary valve pit chamber " Type - B" of internal size 750mm x 750mm x 750mm , PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using ( 40mm graded stone aggregate ) lean concrete in foundation , providing old size well burnt clay brick masonary wall of 230mm thick built in Cement Mortar 1:4 , Rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and fair internally , supply and fix 3.15 mm thick MS sheet steel cover fixed on 50mm x 50mm x 6mm thick angle iron frame , embeded in PCC coping with PCC 1:2:4 type-B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates , with locking arrangement and 1 No. 50mm size 4 levers lock with key in duplicate Standard size and MS hold fast and handle made out of 25mm x 6mm flat iron and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade over a coat of primer (Red Oxide zinc chromate primer ) to all exposed surface including earth work i.e. excavation, returing filling and removal of soil complete all as specified and as directed and all as shown on drawings No.BTD-811 sheet 1/2 to 2/2 including demolition old valve pit Note:- The rate of earth work i.e. excavation, returing filling and removal of soil is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Supply, installation and testing of 100 mm dia Cast Iron Air Release Valve single air outlet type , ISI marked conforming to IS- 14845-2000 along with 1.00 mtr GI pipe line of same dia and all connected fittings, including jointing material such as nuts, bolts, washers and rubber sheet complete all directed by Engineer in- charge.

Supply and fixing DI Special fittings 100mm dia (any type, radius and angle) like collar, bends, tee, tail piece , caps and pugs, single branch ‘Y’ junction, double branch, cross, spigot & socket or taper and flanged, straight bend, increasing decreasing or double socket, reducer etc. all as per site requirment complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note: The weight of DI fittings shall be ascertained through BOO as ordered by GE . The comparrision of weight shall be made with the weight ascertained by BOO and weight specified in latest IS code of DI Fittings . After ascertain the comparision between weight ascertained by BOO and latest IS code of DI Fittings which weight is found less from both weight shall be applicable for measurment of weight and payment .Contractor shall not any claim on this account.

Note for Serial item Nos. 4.00 ,6.00 & 7.00 of BoQ:- 1. All old unservicable material obtained from serial item Nos.4.00 ,6.00 & 7.00 of BoQ shall be deposited in the store yard of concerned AGE W/S of GE Utility Bathinda by the contractor at his own arrangment as directed by Engineer -in-charge. Nothing shall be paid extra to contractor on this account.
