Material & Labour for Testing of complete fire alarm system and submit all test certificate complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Test of fire alarm system shall be carried out by OEM authorised person/OEM themself and test report to be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling the electric induction motor with pump AC 3 Phase, capacity 40 HP to 60 HP, 440 V, 1440RPM, 50 Cycle of any make and type from the foundation after disconnecting electric cable connection and earthing etc. and overhauling pump with motor, reassembling the motor pump set after greasing, oiling painting and re-fixing the same with electric cable connection, earthing and testing the motor on full load at site after coupling the pump for its serviceability up to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

All as per srl item No. 18 above but for electric induction motor of capacity 5 HP to 12.5 HP. Notes for serial item No. 18.00 & 19.00. cost of minor parts replacement if any required, is included in this rate. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Disconnecting the pumping sets of capacity 40 HP to 60 HP of any make and model from motor and all water connections and removing / taking up from foundation, transportation to civil workshop to repair of pumping sets by changing the defective/unserviceable parts such as bearing, shaft, impeller, bush, Gland plate complete. Reassembling including oiling, greasing replacement of worn out nuts, bolts, gasket, glands etc and transporting to site and re-fixing in its original position making all connections, commissioning and testing etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per srl item No. 20 above but for pumping set of capacity 5 HP to 12.5 HP. Note for serial item No. 20.00 & 21.00 :- (i). Ball bearing, shaft, impeller, bush, Gland plate & stuffing box packing etc replaced as per requirement shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ as supply only.The labour element of these items is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) The rates for minor repair, all other minor items essential for functioning of pump are deemed to be included in the quoted rates and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iii) The T & P/ vehicles will be arranged by the contractor for transporting to civil workshop and back and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates nothing shall be extra paid on this account.

To attend day to day complaint in Fire Alarm System and Fire Hydrent system, technicial to be provided by the Contractor for addressing the issues same day/daily basis. The technician should fully knowlegeable and trained for the system having fully repairing work knowledge. The Technicial will solve issues like basic repairing / installation / shifting / wiring / connecting / commissioning / testing / replacement of any item or component of all system mentioned and under GE (Utility) Bathinda, installed at various places of Cantt and also installing at its original position if required, to make installation fully functional after resolving complaints complete all as directed. Note: (i) Provide 01 x fully knowledgeable Fire Technicial for attending day to day complaints and issues at all installations. (ii) Spare parts required for solving complaints shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (iii) T&P / vehicle required for technician and helpers shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost to attend complaints and carry out the repair works at various locations of Cantt area and the cost is included in this item and nothing extra shall be be paid in this regard.

M & L for removing of all items for like all cable connections, fixing of new thimble off sizes, removing of MCCB, Contactor, relays etc and refix the same duly cleaning/removing carbon etc scaling from LT Panel existed at Various Fire hydrent system under GE Utility Bathinda complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) MCCB, Contactor etc measured and paid separately. cost of minor parts like thimble, MCBs upto 32A and labour charges included in this item. No extra cost to be paid for this.

Note:- The contractor shall deposited the old material retrived from item no 01 to 59 to AGE E/M water supply and Refg store yard by his own arrangements without any financial benefits and shall maintain the record for the same as specified by Engr-In-Charge and GE.
