Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 16m high mast light system for 8 luminaires (raising & lowering type with motor and manual) having following specifications & accessories.
(a) High Mast : The high mast light system of 16m high mast, (made up of 2 sections) entirely high mast structure (internally and externally) and all MS part shall be hot dip galvanized. The high mast shall be of continuously tapered polygonal cross section of 20 sides made up of two sections having sheet thickness 4mm min for lower section and 3 mm min for upper section. The mast shaft shall be manufactured from high tensile steel plate conforming to S355 grade as per BS-EN 10 025 having longitudinal welded seam only and without any circumferential weld joint. The minimum dimension across flats of top shall be 150mm and bottom (base) 360 mm or as recommended by OEM. The base plate shall have thickness 25mm and diameter 560mm min. It shall have door at suitable height of size 1200x250mm min or as recommended by OEM having vandal resistance, weather proof type with pad locking facility. The base flange shall be provided with supplementary gussets between the bolt holes. The door opening shall be carefully designed and reinforced with welded steel section, so that the mast section at the base shall be unaffected and undue buckling of the cut portion is prevented.

(b) Luminaires Carriage: Hot dip galvanized luminaire carriage of suitable diameter designed to install symmetrically 8 Nos luminaries fabricated from ERW tubes in two halves having bolted flanged joints at side with stainless steel bolts and nuts to permit removal from an erected mast. Holes are to be provided in the bottom side of the tubes to act as conduit for wiring cables. Luminaires fixing arms and plates are to be welded to the carriage. Carriage shall have fitted with buffer arrangements to prevent damage to the mast finish during movement. Suitable junction box (as applicable) shall be cast aluminium weather proof provided on the carriage assembly for terminating the trailing cable and power cable to luminaries.
(c) Winch/ Power tool: The double drum winch shall be completely self-sustaining without the need for brake shoe, springs or clutches and self-lubricating type by means of an oil bath. The worm gear ratio shall be of suitable ratio and having safe working load 750 Kg min. The drums are to be grooved to provide the perfect seat for the stable and tidy rope lay arrangement for distortion free rope and termination. The winch shall have provision to operate electrically through power tool or manually in case of power failure. Three phase single speed, 6 pole high power motor of 1 HP rating min or as recommended by OEM suitable to lift the load mounted on plate to adjust the length of motor of chain shall be provided in base compartment.

Mechanical torque limiter mounted on motor shaft for start/ stop transmission of motion shall be provided. The power tool shall be supplied with required wiring & accessories suitable to match with High mast control panel.
(d) Hot dip galvanized head frame as a capping unit of the mast of the welded steel construction and provided with guides and separators between the rope and cable complete with aluminium pulleys with bush bearing mounted through stainless steel shaft suitable to accommodate wire rope and multi core trailing cables. The head frame to be provided with guides and stops with PVC buffer for the locking of the luminaire carriage. The pulley shall be covered with a hot dip galvanized canopy. The suspension wires shall be made of stainless steel wires rope of AISI 316 grade, 7/19 construction with central core in the same material of 6mm dia. The breaking load capacity of wire rope should be 2350 Kg x 2 minimum. The end termination luminaire carriage shall be with stainless steel thimble etc.
(e) The multi core flexible power trailing cable from base compartment to junction box at luminaries carriage shall be EPR insulated PCP sheathed 1100 volts grade copper conductor with male female connectors of 4.0 Sqmm having suitable cores for 9 Nos luminaires or above as required at site for control of these lights as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The system shall have in-built facilities for testing the luminaries while carriage in lowered position.

(f) One number heavy duty hot dip galvanized lightning finial shall be provided for the mast. The lightning finial shall be minimum 1.2 M in length or as required so that the lantern carriage also comes within the safety zone and shall be provided at the centre of the head frame. It shall be bolted solidly to the head frame to get a direct conducting path to the earth through the mast. The lightning finial shall not be provided on the lantern carriage under any circumstances in view of safety of the system. A suitable space shall be provided at base of the mast to connect with earthing. The mast shall have single/double dome LED aviation light at the top of suitable capacity.
(g) Mast shall be erected with foundation bolt set comprises of anchor plate with 8 Nos high tensile studs/bolts with nuts. The foundation bolt shall be TS600, 24mm diameter, 750 mm long or as recommended by OEM.
(h) Construction of shallow foundation with suitable grade concrete or as recommended by OEM for the high mast considering the safe soil bearing capacity at site as 10 T/ sqm at 2 metre depth with all materials and labour complete as per OEM drawing after approval of Engineer-in-Charge. The rate also include the cost of PVC/GI pipe 3 inch dia required to be fixed in foundation concrete for the passage of cable.

Notes : (i) The quoted rate include the cost any type of special T&P, tools, equipments required at site for erection, installation of the complete high mast light system. The quoted rate include the cost of any control/junction box for lights, foundation other accessories, items which is necessary for the satisfactory functioning of the high mast light system but not mentioned in here. (ii) The contractor shall provide genuineness/ authentication certificate from manufacturer to confirm that High mast is of make approved by Deptt as specified in CA. No payment shall be released till contractor provide the same.

(b) If the results are not found satisfactory, then 2nd earthing will be re-done without any cost payable to Contractor

(c) AMF CONTROL PANEL: AMF Control panel shall be Microprocessor Relay based panel made out of suitable thick CRCA sheet of 14/16 gauge complete factory made dust and vermin proof, totally enclosed with front opening of 415V 3 phase, 4 wire system AC 50 Hz, having Copper busbar of and MCCB of suitable rating with overload and short circuit protection, Current transformers, and other required elect items with incoming and outgoing termination.

(d) Gen set controller : It should be a electronic micro processor based generator set monitoring and control system mounted in the Gen set control panel .It should provide a simple operator interface to the generator set, manual and remote start/stop control, shutdown fault indication, and indication of battery voltage, oil pressure, water/ engine temp, engine rpm, hour meter and protection against low oil pressure, high water temperature and over speed of engine. It should have all the functions necessary to locally or remotely start and stop and protect the generator set. The display should be able to display Voltage L-L & L-N, current, KVA, KW, Frequency, Oil pressure, water temperature and all other parameters as per OEM recommendation. (e) Acoustic insulated enclosure/canopy for Generating set:- Acoustic enclosure shall be factory made up of suitable thickness (as recommended by OEM) CRCA sheet powder coated insulated with suitable insulation material so as comply with the 75 dBA at a 1m sound level or latest norms and conforming to the provisions of environment (protection) rules. The doors and glass window shall be as per manufacturer's design.
(f) Foundation : Suitable size PCC/ RCC plinth foundation as per manufacturer recommendation shall be provided in this over all quoted rates.

Supply Install, testing and commissioning of LT Distribution Panel (Approx min size 1200 x 1000 x 450mm), cubicle type, outdoor type, factory fabricated made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet outer & 2mm thick CRCA sheet inner of suitable size to accommodate all accessories/ fittings compartmentalized in construction to accommodate the incoming MCCB and TPN bus bars and outgoing feeders. The TPN bus bars shall be insulated with colour coated heat shrinkable sleeve and shall be mounted on DMC/ epoxy insulator . The incoming as well as outgoing MCCBs shall have extension links of current carrying cap not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of individual feeders. The extension links shall be supported on DMC/ Epoxy insulators having provision for termination of incoming and outgoing cables. All extension links/ interconnections shall have colour coated sleeves. The cubicle shall have frame work on bottom with 60 CM long 4 legs of size 50 x50 x 6mm angle iron, grouted in PCC 1:3:6 as directed by Engr-in-Charge. A detacheable gland plate of thickness not less than 3 mm thick should be used at the botom for entry of armoured cable of adequate size compression glands The panel shall have powder coated finish with RAL 7032 SIEMENS GRAY Structure after seven tank phosphating treatment, front & back opening type, and having 2 Nos danger notice plate with letter, figures and conventional skull bones in signal red colour and fixed front & back door & LT Panel indicated in Hindi and English with double door shutter and shall have louvers and airvent gasket for natural flow of air Neoprene adhesive type gasket shall be used to make panel vermin proof and comprising of following:-

(i) Bus bar strip, four pole and capacity 400 Amps copper, coloured with plastic coated insulated and sleeves in four colours (Red, Yellow, blue and black ) fixed on porcelain insulators with necessary nuts and bolts and washers etc.
