Material and Labour for cleaning of existing RCC over head water storage tank of capacity 1,00,000 gallons on 18 mtrs stagging by carrying out the following works complete by specialised water tank cleaner:-
(i) Dewatering the tank by employing man power and required tools & plants.
(ii) Removing the sludge, mud, dirt, slit, dissolved iron water etc., thoroughly from walls, corners and floor/base of the tank.
(iii) Treating the wall with bleaching powder; rubbing, scrubbing the deposited particles, iron contents, from base/floor, walls & corners, etc. completely by using wire brush and man power.
(iv) Taking out all slit, sludge and dirt from the sump/reservoir and depositing to a distance up to 50 mtr complete.
(v) After primary cleaning the empty sump shall be cleaned further with mixture of fresh water and potassium perrmangnate @ 2% with water & washing the sump shall be continued till water stored in tank looks clean.
NOTE: (a) The work shall be got executed through a reputed specilaized water tank cleaner as directed
(b) All equipments/materials required for cleaning of tank will be brought by the contractor and no extra cost will be paid in this effect.
(c) The contractor must intimate atleast one week in advance for cleaning of tank and only after approval of Engr -in-charge/GE, the cleaning will be carried out.
(d) The contractor must carry out all the process in such a way that the complete inside cleaning process as mentioned above must be finished in one day only to cause minimum disturbance to regular water supply to connected area.
(e) The contractor must cater for all safety arrangement i. e. safety belts/ helmet / safety harness, scaffolding etc for working man power and inspecting staff and no extra cost will be paid in this effect.
(f) The cost of cleaning area / grass cutting / removal of minor bushes / roots of dead tree within 15 metre radius from plinth protection of the tank shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate.
(g) The branches of trees covering the roof of OHR should be trimmed by the contractor up to 5 mtr distance from OHR and no extra cost will be paid in this effect.
(h) Insurrance of all persons working on OHR must be done by contarctor and is fully responsible for any risk involved.
(j) Writing "Date of cleaning, numbering of water level Display and capacity of over head reservoir" on OH Reservoir of any capacity with white paint in english letters not exceeding 30 cm high over black painted surface.
