M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level sorrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt fliing in alternate layers etc and connected to and including 32 x 6 mm GI strip upto 7.5 mtr by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron and protected by light grade 20 mm dia GI pipe connected to main control board and GI pipe medium grade 40 mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, charcoal salt etc RCC pit cover of RCC (1:1.5:3) flush to earth pit 50mm thick reinforced with 8mm TMT bar 100mmC/C and PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20mm graded aggregate) including excavation and earthwork disposal of surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50 metre) and testing as specified and shown on plate No 3 of SSR Part-I 2009 after demolition the existing old unserviceable earthing complete all as directed..

Supply and fix in repair earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required by using 25mm x 4 mm GI strip complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x60cm x6mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level ) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below ground level, connecting to the Galvanised iron earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia , by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washer etc of galvanised iron and earth lead protected by provision of GI pipe light grade 32mm bore light grade from earthing test point or main controling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore GI pipe light grade, wire mesh,charcoal or coke andcommon salt in alternative layer of 15 Cm (compactedd thickness) all round the earth electrode,concrete earth pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone agagregates with 50mm thick cover of RCC (1:1.5:3) (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @15 cm C/C bothways and MS bar handle made of 10mm dia bar) including necessary earth work in excavation,returning in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr, all as per electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I including earthing pit cover etc. after demolition the existing old unserviceable earthing complete all as directed.

M&L for construction of earthing pit chamber after demolition of old unserviceable earthing pit chamber with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, pre cast RCC (1:1.5:3) type A1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in 50 mm thick cover slab reiforced with 4 mm dia TMT bar @ 150 mm c/c both ways with one handle of 8 mm dia TMT bar embeded in cover slab for lifting including painting the external surface of chamber and cover with two coats of synthetic enamel paints in different colours as directed and writing earth resuls and date of test carried out with white paint on black painted back ground complete all as directed.

M&L for construction of earth test point after demolition of old unserviceable earth test point including GI,/Copper strip, clamps,nut bolts, washers, porcelain insulator etc complete all as directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning in replacement of maintenance free earthing (grounding) electrode of size 85 mm Dia x 3 Mtr long with 17.2 mm Cu bonded MS conductor in high purity electrically conductive granular material having ultra low resistive value of 0.001 Ohm-m. Electrode made of conductive earth enhancing material mixed with cement in the ratio (3:1) backfill the voids surrounding the 17.2 mm Cu Bonded MS conductor or other metal components placed in augured bore hole of 100mm dia x 3 Mtr depth, resulting to increase in the effective surface area of the earth electrode or grids to lower the resistance. Earth enhancing matetial should not leach chemicals into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and should be in pH neutral range. Earth enhancing material should permanently protect the encased metal components of the earthing system, copper bonding on MS rod should be minimum 250 microns. All hardware like nuts, bolts and washers should be of stainless steel. Electrode should withstand fault current upto 35 KA for 1 second. Electrode's top terminal be sealed permanently packed with conductive concrete and Cu bonded copper strip of size 32mmX 6mm taken out be terminated on to earth test point and equipment terminal upto 7mtr length. Test certificate of NABAL laboratory shall be submitted by the contractor, test link of size 50 mmX 6 mm X 200 mm, RCC pit cover test point complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Elancrete Note :- (i) Test certificate of earthing material from certified NABL laboratory shall be submitted. (ii) Test Reports Should Not be more than 7 year old. (iii)Test Report for Fault Current,Rohs compliance, Resistivity value from NABL certified/ CPRI lab is must be submitted.
