The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the completion of similar works. The details of similar works are as follows: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated price of the particular works. - Or, two similar completed works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated price of the particular works. - Or, one similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated price of the particular works. For works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported by a performance certificate from the authority for whom the work has been completed. The bidder should have at least 2 years of experience in the relevant field. The bidder should provide information on their experience as a Prime Contractor, Joint Venture partner, or Sub-Contractor, including the number of years of experience. The bidder should also provide details of their soil and material testing laboratory, if any, and their experience in similar works, including the value and percentage of similar works completed. The value of work may be enhanced at a simple rate of 8% per annum. The bidder should have experience in works such as development of playgrounds. The bidder should provide information on their current commitments on all contracts that have been awarded, including the contract value, percentage and amount of participation, and percentage and amount sub-contracted. The bidder's available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level. The assessed available bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the project. The bidder should also provide an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash amount up to 25% of the contract value during the implementation of the work.
