The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, or as a Sub-Contractor. The bidder should have completed similar works, and for works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, as a prime Contractor, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as follows: - One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work - Two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work - Three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work Additionally, the bidder is required to provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, which may include the estimated cost and other details. The bidder should also have an available bid capacity, calculated as per clause 4.4, which is more than the estimated value of the project/work. The bidder is also required to provide an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of the work during implementation.
